Update on the Scenario-
Firstly massive thanks to Apoc for his amazing terrain he is producing
Table 1 Emperors Palace Running on a 12 x 4 board Massive walls and gate run across 4 foot side at end of table, in front of them are trench works and bunkers etc, behind some buildings. Small walls run roughly where 2 tables meet. Imperials deploy on massive walls and in fortifications in front. Chaos deploy up to and in small walls.
Massive walls - each section has d3 void shields replaced per turn as normal - controlled from Command centre table Massive walls - Chaos use normal movement to move on to them but take a dangerous terrain test Teleporting - Chaos can teleport at any point, they cannot teleport on the massive walls except on turns the Teleport Homer Jammer objective is held by Chaos (Command centre table) Drop pods - Chaos may drop pod 2 formations per turn for as long as they hold the majority of objectives on the Spaceport table. Cannot be on massive walls until Void shields are down
Objectives Main Gate 10pts Wall objective 3pts Wall objective 3pts Tower wall objective 5pts + 15pts to hold all objectives
Forces Imperials Tim+Simon 5k each - no spacecraft, only 1 loaded flyer each, Can bring Dorn and Sanguinius if you want - in addition to 5k, counts as SC
Chaos Matt+Tom 7.5k each - no spacecraft, Can bring Mortation, Perturabo and Angron if you want - in addition to 7.5k, 2 of them count as SCs
Table 2 Spaceport Centrally positioned on a 12 x 4 table with trenches around it Chaos deploy in the Spaceport complex Imperials deploy within 30cm of both short board edges
Objectives 3 Objectives pre-placed in Spaceport 5pts per Objective +10 if all held Whoever holds the majority of objectives at the beginning of a turn may - drop pod 2 formations in Imperial palace board - use a 3 template Orbital bombardment- this can be aimed but then scatter 2 D6 - on any table
Imperials Ben and Dave T 7.5k each - no spacecraft, all formations must be AV, WEs or have transport. Can bring Russ and Khan if you want on top of the 7.5k count as SCs
Chaos Kev+Mike 5k each no spacecraft, only 1 teleporting formation per armyper turn, Can bring Curze and Magnus if you want on top of the 5k count as SCs
Table 3 Command Centre Isolated Command Centre still held by Imperial forces, command centre complex will in middle of 12x4 board Imperials deploy in Command centre, Chaos deploy all around command centre
Objectives Void Shield Generator - at the start of each turn if Chaos do not contest this then the Emperors Palace has d3 Void shields per section Teleport Jammer - at the start of each turn if Chaos do not contest this then Chaos cannot teleport on the Massive walls. Turrets - at the start of each turn if Chaos do not contest this then the turrets defending the Imperial palace are operational and start the turn on Overwatch.
3pts per objective
Imperials Mark p+Erin - 5k each - only 1 loaded thunderhawk per player, no spacecraft, only 1 teleporting formation per player. Mark can bring Jonson if he wants as SC on top of the 5k
Chaos - Dave B _Steve 7k each - no spacecraft - Dave can bring Fulgrim if he wants as SC on top of 7k
General Titans - can everybody bring any painted titans they have in addition to their picked force. These will be pooled and divided between sided - all titans use AMTL stats. To encourage titan vs titan use if shooting at anything over 30cm away they get a +1 to hit. Chaos titans will be upgunned to match - 1pt for each titan destroyed -Destroyed titans and WEs are left as cover - blocks movement for vehicles+provides cover
Daemons - all formations that can have a pact get that pact for free. Champions and Icons purchased as normal - each table gets 3 D6 lesser daemons and 1 Greater Daemon per turn
Lists - don't try and max out on activations, bulk out formations with upgrades instead. Too many activations and we won't make much progress in the time. For example Dave Ts chosen force has 19 activation for 7.5k
Primarchs - Simon is statting these up, they are in addition to your points and are the SC. Replace the character in a formation with them, transported as if normal unit. I will bring Chapter badges to denote the Primarch if you are just using a character stand to represent him -3pts for each Primarch killed, when a Primarch is killed all formations from his Legion get a BM
Activations Each player on a side activates a formation as their activation. For the first activation, per side, of each turn each player activates 1 formation then may NOT retain. After the first activations per side+player both or either player can retain as normal.
