I think that a disclaimer stating that 'we are doing something bad, but if you tick this box you cant use it in a court of law' is on fairly shakey ground!
Besides, guys, there seems to be a general attitude of 'I hope we dont get caught'. In actual fact, GW are welcome to take a look around, as we havent done anything wrong at all, which is one reason we have not had a Christmas card from GW legal.
Some miniatures may be made for personal use here, but any threads which suggest the sale of these have been closed and/or deleted. Miniatures for personal use are not endorsed by this site, and I am entirely unable to stop people doing so in their own home, and the act of making miniatures for personal use is not illegal. If GW legal find somewhere that I have missed any implication of sales (I am unable to check every single thread, every single day) then I will apologise and close/delete that thread too. But the position of this site regarding casting miniatures to profit from GWs IP is fairly clear and consistant.
Any rules development here is different from that being discussed for Blood Bowl. Where Blood Bowl is attempting to fill model voids where rules exist, we are actually doing things the other way around, and saying 'buy more GW minis', here are some rules to help you spend money.
In addition to this, we have certain email exchanges prmoting the use of this site for rules development from GW themselves.
The site has been around for a couple of years, and our sister site was started in April 2001 (!) and we have never had any problems with GW legal at all.
