Nothing quite as good as penguin soup right before you hunt for polar bears.

Yep, you'd need a good meal to sustain you on the trip between the poles :p

The fun thing about Polar bears: generally it's hard to convince them that the hunting is not going the other way.

In general, Grizzly bears seem to think we're not all that good eating -- though Right Guard, Irish Spring, and, allegedly, cayenne pepper spray provide helpful seasoning.  Polar bears seem to have far fewer dietary quibbles.  If it moves and is above freezing, it's probably good food.

There was something I saw a while ago about Polar Bears figuring out that oil rig crew hatches functioned in much the same way as seal breathing holes -- every once in a while some nice warm protein pops out.

Swipe!

I remember reading that Gary Larson (artist who did the Far Side cartoons) received dozens of letters from scientists and teachers explaining that polar bears and penguins live in different poles and how he really had been oblivious to the fact when he drew the cartoons.  If you ever want to read a book that will have you giggling like an idiot, the Prehistory of the Far Side will do it.

As for polar bears, there was that woman last year who jumped into a polar bear enclosure at a zoo and found out -surprise surprise- they aren't nearly as cute and cuddly when they are rending your flesh from your bones.  I believe she could have won a Darwin Award for that if the outcome was different.

Stupid zoo survivor (note the penguin reference on this one...)
Another stupid zoo survivor
The funny thing is -to polar bears- we look a lot like this.

As if he really cared.

Just read that book to see some of his responses to the complaint letters.  You will wet yourself from laughing.

Oh, that's not sport.  You need SOME taste of success before going after a polar bear  :Ikonforums:

I noticed both types of packaging from SG - my guess is some people may still get the old stuff as they run through the older inventory.

The best part about white boxes is it makes it much easier for them to screw things up (hmmm, this weighs about a pound but it says "Epic Eldar Shining Spears".  Ah, no matter - ship it anyway!)

LOL    :sign1:

Yeah, I've ordered stuff from GW in the past year and sometimes it's the new white citadel boxes/blisters or the old Epic ones. Whatever they have sitting on the shelf you get unless they need to pack a new blister then its the new white ones.
