I believe the fusion guns and flamers would give them FF5+, not FF6+... and CC4+ seems awfully good for them... that's how good Marines are in close combat; having both CC and FF at 5+ seems more appropriate to me.
Gotta say this is drifting the list away from being a "baseline" Craftworld army list; not that that's bad, but is that the intent?
CC5+ and FF5+ would be a pretty good compromise.
As far as moving away from a baseline Craftworld I'm just spit-balling here.
semajnollissor complained that there is no reason for this list to exist as it can be recreated close enough with another list.
I had to take a hard look and think that maybe he's right. I'm undecided. I really wanted to build a basic, unremarkable list, but with my modeling and painting, and finally getting hold of someone to do some custom Iybraesil decals for me I've sort of gone Iybraesil crazy.
I wondered what it would be like to expand on their background. So I'm a bit torn between having my original idea seen through and doing a proper variant list for Iybraesil.
Given that I'm in the minority and
no-one wants to play a "joe-shmo" average Craftworld I'm thinking maybe a new direction is needed.
I think this is stretching things, just to get the Void Spinner into the list; it's not that other Craftworlds don't have them, it's that they don't use them as a *weapon*; the Void Spinner is a "terraforming", or whatever the Eldar word would be, device, Biel-Tan is perverting its purpose when they take it to war. It's like using the Genesis Device from Wrath of Khan as a *bomb* instead of turning dead matter into a living state.
So, the other Craftworlds don't use it, not because they don't have access, but because they believe it's an abomination to use it that way.
If Storm Guardians are going to be the "special" of the Craftworld, they don't need one of Biel-Tan's specials as well.
