Khorne had widest variety of Epic War Engines and I have always loved models for both Banelord & Lord of Battles. So it would be easiest for me to do a Khornate L&TD army in Epic.
But my favourite Epic Chaos figures are the Slaanesh & Tzeentch range. I wish I had bought some of the Slaanesh War Engines in particular, especially seeing how expensive they are now on ebay.
Cheers
James

I like all the chaos powers, but I would agree Khorne has less appeal to me than say Tzeentch. Although in fairness Nurgle appeals to me the least.....
Primarch | Nurgle has certainly the least appeal to me of all Chaos powers. I will be giving away my few Epic Plaguebearers to a friend who is doing a Khornate/Nurgle L&TD army.
Cheers

Since we are sounding off, I have flirted with most of the Chaos powers in the past. However, my Epic plan is to have a Slaanesh Marine force (my favourite power - I guess that I can relate to it. It is also the most complex in my mind), and a Khorne LatD force, as I like the strong imagery (and the boldest colour scheme), and I like the potential of the force - not necessarily what GW have done with it, but the posibility of it being a lot more gothic and less cartoony. However, I diverge from the current Khorne in that I dont see heavy weapons or ranged firepower as anti-Khorne at all. Original background didnt make this distinction.
Tzeentch has always been my least favoured of the four, mostly because I dont really like the brighter colours on Chaos minis, and for me it has the weakest theme to it. However, I did start a Tzeentch Warhammer force way back in third edition.
Nurgle is the power that I keep almost collecting. I like the background, and the theme, but I just never get around to it. That being said, my Crucible of Champions Chaos warband will be Nurgle.

I'll agree to this. As I said before, I have minis for all 4 chaos powers, but Khorne is by far my largest chaos army. And, Khorne has always appealed to me the most.

I agree that the current EA Khorne force is a tactical challenge to use. I certainly wouldn't take anything away from anyone who fielded them. I also agree they have some of the better daemon engine sculpts. Just going from sheer volume, they should have some of the better ones.
As far as Chaos preferences, mine would be:
1) Tzeentch 2) Slaanesh and Nurgle (tie) 4) Undivided 5) Khorne
As it is, I've built Tzeentch and Slaanesh because I can actually field them together without enmity problems.
My L&D army is currently leaning heavily towards Slaanesh for 2 reasons. 1) I have a Tzeentch-themed Black Legion army, 2) I have most of a separate Thousand Sons army, and 3) I have a bunch of models that will be best used in a Slaanesh L&D army (12+ knights, 4 titans, hordes of Eldar Guardians as cultists).
=============
But back on topic...
Anyone got any cultists or daemons laying about?

Humph - as I said, I like old Khorney, but Nurgle has been my favourite, with Tzeentch just behind. Slaanesh comes fourth.

My fledgling Chaos force is Undivided (based on a Word Bearer Legion theme) with contingents mostly from Khornate and Nurgle forces.
Of course, my soon to be delivered Chaos MEGATRADE forces will change that army composition out of all proportion.
