Did Zac AKA PG close down his list?
I wouldn't be surprised. He has too much of a load from his E-A duties.
He's a decent guy and doesn't deserve the flak he takes.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

OK, On one of the other threads we have started to discuss rules systems we like to borrow from. I thought it was interesting enough to have it's own thread. So, Dirtside...
I like Dirtside quite a bit. It is not perfect, but does have a lot going for it.
Has anyone tried Fist Full of TOWs?

Off the top of my head ... SM1, SM2, E40K ... we've taken most of our previously SM1 based rules and took a little from SM2 & E40K ...

I actually bought FFT quite recently. It is a nice system, and got a thumbs up just from the authors notes of borrowing c&c rules from 40K and firepower from the original Epic! I was not so sure about the game initially, but I like it more and more now.

I have played a few modern 1/285th scale battles using FFT. It was fun. One good laugh was half way through a game, I was geting my ars handed to me, we realized I was calculating my numbers wrong and thus was loosing more then I should. So we chacked it up to too many of my troops were "yeller".
Fun set of rules.

One rule system I looked at for ideas was a modern set called Challenger 2000. It was a complex game.
Another rules system I have tried some things from was Command Decision.

I am also very interested in CD. But, there is version four coming out soon (it is in the playtest stage) and I am waiting for that. I keep bugging the 6mm Yahoo Group for updates!
I also have Mein Panzer, Panzer War and Panzer Marsch, as well as Modern Spearhead (if we are talking about moderm-ish rules sets).

I have tried many of the above, and wrote many of the additional rules and army lists for FFT that are on the website. I also really like GDW's "Over the Top" which is like a WW1 CD, and have many other but havent played many of them except Spearhead whichi thought was very good too.
There was a great supplement for CD called Barbarossa/25 which i always wanted to do a epic campaign based on....
