I love that site WM, and I soooo wanted that Star Destroyer kit when I saw it in a model shop a few years ago!
The AMT/ERTL X-Wing with motorised wings and sound effects is rather fantastic as well...

Hmmm...I wonder if those snowspeeders are too big to be used as replacements for Vultures?

Hmmm. As it happens, my only surviving Star Wars toy is an AT-AT. Would be about the right scale for a 40k game...

Quote (MaksimSmelchak @ 22 2005 May,10:38) | Hi Vanvlak,
I have a whole dcument at my Star Wars group listing the sizes of various miniatures.
Catch it here in the files section:
http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/SSSW/
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak. | Unless I missed it, the document on the group only covers micromachines (now do not get me wrong, this is VERY usefull) but it did not cover the plastic models.
As for the plastic At-Ats. There are at least two sizes out there. I had both. The little ones are closer to 6mm and the large one was closer to 10mm or 15mm.
I smashed my larger one by mistake one night. Long Story.
The smaller ones I traided to someone who "really" wanted them and at the time I did not care either way.

Hi Dafrca,
Dafrca: Unless I missed it, the document on the group only covers micromachines (now do not get me wrong, this is VERY usefull) but it did not cover the plastic models. |
It also has the plastic models for Starfighters and Capital Ships.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Thanks Maksim. And L-4. And I think you'll like my AT-At, if I ever manage to compete it.
