Hummmmz, well, Mr. Hai is being painted - fun to paint, but the slightly smaller than WH scale is making me clumsy! I'm used to the WH scale and Epic, but this slightly different one is giving me trouble. Need to practice! Meanwhile, progress on the 40K front has seen 7 Terminators and 4 marines - er - whut? Ok, I have a game of 40K Thursday, and having recently done abysmally with Chaos, wanted to get my good old Legio Fausta space marines back in shape, so I had to paint these 11 blokes - easy colour schemes for a rapid paint job. And one of these just needed retouching.

Still off topic, but I've almost completed the SMs in a shorter time than I'd have expected - I really need to apply these rates of paint to my new armies and to Epic stuff. Pics up some time later in the week.

WARMASTER TOMB KINGS - STEAM TANK(!)
Hi all, something new this time - the headline is a dead give-away, I guess. Anyway, it's a fairly rusty steam tank in otherwise good condition; it was taken to Araby to support a major Imperial incursion, when it was trapped in a sand storm and ran out of water. I havn't decided whether to use it as a chariot, or a Sphinx, or whether to use full steam tank rules. Decisions...... anyway, no-one plays Warmaster much here, either....

Another view - the skeleton's pleased with that flag of his, although it's not too practical in a tank.

UPDATE, WITH MAN O' WAR AND OTHER STUFF
Hmm, this thread is gathering dust.... Well, I'm in a bundle of work again, with the MPhil to PhD transfer coming up in June. But a few odds and ends are getting touched up. The 40K scene is absent this time round, but some reinforcements from Finland have sparked off work in the Warhammer fantasy world. The Dwarf Fleet has been expanded by 6 (!) Nautilii - more than I can legally field in my fleet; but I can't resist them, so I'm painting up all 6 (to be added to my original 3). My originals aren't painted either - I have to dig them up from somewhere. Meanwhile, the Imperial army has been reinforced by a bold pair of Tilean crossbowmen. The only survivors from an epedition to the Chaos wastes, these pair, the de Moiarna brothers, have had enough of the cold north and have moved to warmer climes. Hard up, they've accepted the Imperial Schilling and join the Averlandian ranks. They're currently trying to get hold of new uniforms i.e. they're bathing in thinner. At least it will get rid of any risk of Chaotic taint... The Imperial fleet has been constructed in Northern shipyards too, and added to my handful of wargalleys are a Greatship, 6 Wolfships, and several more galleys. I'm in a paint scheme dilemma here: the Knight Hospitallers actually had red galleys here in Malta, and I'm tempted. We'll see.
The LOTR scene has had the first trial scheme Uruk completed some time ago - but I forgot to take pics. Will add him in later. His siege colleagues and a Shaman are being prepared for painting.
Deffsta's paint was not completed on time for SWIII, but he's progressing as gracefully as a Gargant can.
And the Squatachans are getting a pair of special ops Thunderbricks - another Finnish reinforcement.
Finally, I've dug up my old AT-AT (as explained elsewhere), as well as a large scale Pegaso Models (Italian) XIII cent. knight on foot. I'm almost too frightened to paint it, it's an incredible model!

MAN O' WAR DWARFS
And now, the Nautilii - all 6 of them. Colours are not too clear. To please Primarch, I used the blue cover of a pathology book (borrowed from wife) as a backdrop - didn't work too well. All but one are chain metal, with loads od chestnut wash. The remaining one has estuarine fleet colours, and is olive drab with the same wash. The ships are unofficially referred to as The Twins, Redhorn, Flag, Wreck and Slug (the latter being the estuarine fleet one). Good for Aquanef?

MAN O' WAR DWARFS
Hi Primarch, I see you're around.
Here's one of the tins, with Redhorn in the background.
Pics of the Snowspeeder are in the Star Wars 6mm thread; whilst a pair of Thunderbricks are in the Squatachan T06G thread.
Cheers!

Hi!
It warms my heart. The Dwarves were the fleet I fielded when I played Man-o-War.
Great stuff!
