I'm trying to get people to the Sheffield Gaming Centre on Bank Holiday Monday for a spot of Epic gaming. Not an official event by any means, but it could be entertaining.

It's open 10-6, so give me a shout if you be interested.

I'm getting the impression the answer is a "No" to if people are interested.

Not sure why.....

Hi!

Dysartes, from those of us across the pond the interest is high, but the practicality is low.... :;):

I'm interested, I just waited to respond until I'd checked my diary. I cant make it I'm afraid. Having just returned from a weekend up North, and being in Nottingham (not HQ) the following week, I cant afford another weekend away - too much "real life" going on at the moment!

Good luck though, and let us know how it goes if you do get a good group together!

Unfortunately Sheffield is a 4 hour drive from where I live (North Wales), and Ive just done trips to Liverpool and Derby the last two weekends...so Im all driven out! :) I also have the girlfriends parents staying over this weekend :O I plan on hiding in my painting room and finishing off the last of my 30 IG SHT's...sorry Dysartes.

Hmm - as it stands, I can think of a minimum of 6 people showing up, though two of them are only learning the system atm.

For those of you on the Epic: A board (which I suspect is most of you), we've got myself, billthebobder, dptdexys and The_Real_Chris turning up - in Chris' case, straight from the WPS Club Challange.

Good luck with the day, Dysartes, hope everyone enjoys it.
I would love to come but unfortunatly Bank Holidays are usually family/friend visiting weekends, this weekend we've a friend from Stuttgart visiting (we're hoping to return the favour in early August :D ) Not a gamer :( still wine, women and song come a close second :p

So near, and yet so far. I am actually in the area for the bank holiday weekend, but I am helping someone move house.

A convention report would be great though.
