I kind of like the old G/S Cults. I have my Chaos Cultist (ala SM1 TO&Es w/mods) able to use G/S-'Nids according to the old "Fluff" from W/Ds 114-117 & 145 (when dinosaurs roamed the earth !). And I have a copy of an article in CJ (?), for E40K G/S Cults. So I "mind-melded" (Indeed!), those together to accommodate us ! HOWever, it's all academic at this point, since all my 'Nids are SIB ! In most cases, I fill out TO&Es before I do my models !

Yes, "P", we still have Ork "Freebooterz" in our Ork and Chaos TO&Es ! And even Humies Mercs with my Orks as well as Ogryn (ala SM1 !) [ actually they are IG Special Forces, "helping" the Orks out with their enemies ! Like other Orks, Eldar, Traitor IG & SM, etc. ! ]

I've had Cult bits n pieces since they were first released, but never put together any cohesive armies.
Been meaning to play with a Stealer Cult list since E:A was released, pinching things from Cybershadow's first draft, some bits from Tim Huckleberry's 40k list, and anywhere else i could think of, as well as throwing in some oddness of my own, but not having a regular play group (kickboxing and work have got in the way of playing with both the Warhammer World 1st Company Veterans and the Notts Wargames Group), I've not much chance to playtest, and needing to lay me mitts on some epic genestealers is also not helping. A second ToXG would probably result in the doing of a Cult, but I've got at least 2 other armies to finish (1 40k, 1 FB) before I should really think about that.

The Genestealer Cult was where I properly got into GW (I had the old Beakie Marines, but these were really cool). I ordered a 40K Cult army from MO. For about 60 pounds I got a Patriarch in a Chair, a few Purestrains, some of the old metal Hybrids, a load of the original plastic Imperial Guard, Beastmen (yes, they were in a cult) and Khorne Flesh-hounds. A really cool deal... and most of them are still waiting to be painted up!

Yeah I've always liked the cult armies too Cybershadow. I picked up some of the hybrids, another magus and a patriarch a few weeks ago... don't know whether I will ever get enough to do something with them though!

I never made a 40K Limo... but I do still have some Speedstas that I bought specifically for Limos... but they are not so good. I will be probably be using a few other minis instead. There are a few 6mm civilian cars out there that look ok.
I also have a few old GS Familiars for a Patriarch...

Yeah. I had me eye on Speedstas as limos.
I've got Skytrex (i think it were) 6mm WWII trucks and half tracks for cheap and nasty transports, and the Familiars for the Patriarch (daemon prince...)
Last time i was working on 40k Cult stuff, I converted about a dozen Catachans with bits of plastic stealer and old Nids, and ended up with an evil looking motley crew of hybrids. Used a couple of Ork Buggies to make dune buggy LAVs as well. My IG army of the time was all Catachan, so this was the easiest way. Never found me the 1/43 Half Tracks I was hoping to convert into a Cult transport though.
Looks like I'm doing the Cult list when I've finished the Iron Warriors then...
