Looks great WM, and will be even better when you've painted it all up I'm sure!

Back in black. da-da-daaa.... Spray undercoated the terrain piece along with two othher smaller pieces today. I still need to go over them with a brush to coverr the areas inaccessible with the spray can.
Also the Resin Gargant Krooza sent me arrived today. Lovely piece. I'm doing a few minor modifications before he gets a coat of black undercoat. Also I hope to be able to work a bit on my Battlefortresses and squiggoths later today.
Cheers!

Quote (Jimbo @ 16 2005 April,20:17) | Today my son and I started work on my two mini terrain boards which I am going to use for photographs and for a test bed for a bigger desert terrain board later on.
Using two squareish bits of 5mm MDF approx 24"x18" one will be as mentioned a desert terrain, the other will be rocky and grassy.
First stage was to stick some small rocks on the boards. My son (2?) helped find the little rocks in the garden and glued some to the boards.
At the moment it looks like MDF with small rocks stuck to it, but I think it will look better soon... |
Primarch Looking forward on seeing pics of those boards! | Here is a pic.
The first thing I did was add some small stones to the board, you should be able to see an Ork battlewagon for scale purposes.

The next stage was to add some expanded polystyrene (taken from an iPod box) to act as a backplate.
Then I glued in some cork bark.

More pics on the blog.
