Hi!
There seem to be a lot of sick people this season. Quite a few with flu symptoms around here at work.
Hope you'll feel better!

Quote (MaksimSmelchak @ 14 2005 April,01:03) | I got a new Star Wars E-group up today (took me about 30 minutes... I'm getting good at making E-groups):

SSSW ? SSSW (Small Scale Star Wars) Wargaming |
What scale are we talking about? 5mm?
I have been buying loads of the WoTC SW Minatures figures. I now have loads of Jedi, stormtroopers, ewoks and all the old faves.
Looking forward to playing a big game with all of my Jedi- just think of the sound effects you can make!!
Get well soon.
Cheers, James.

Hi James,
What scale are we talking about? 5mm? |
I made the group open to everything below the arbitrary skirmish of 25mm.
Practically, I'm using 6 to 10mm figures that scale pretty well with my E-A ones.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Guys,
If I am falling behind on any communication with anyone... it's because I'm experiencing a bit of stress lately. Spring fever has hit and some of the children are at each other's throats.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Guys,
I'm thinking about releasing v5.35 E-A Tyranid Army Playtest List without finished tournament rules (Which is the big hold-up at the moment).
V5.35 will include a number of unit, army list (point), and organizational changes.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hope things improve soon Maksim.
Releasing Nid 5.35 without the tournament rules sounds like a good idea to me - means people can get to playtesting with toned down Lictors, Expectorators etc.
Tournament rules can be fermented over later.

Hi Markco,
Hope things improve soon, Maksim. |
Thanks for writing Markco! It's good to hear from you.
I had a hellacious week. the little buggers I got tasked to in my classroom are pugnacious. Many of them have little to no respect for authority and no work ethic. It's disappointing. It's very saddening to see children wasting their lives.
Of course, I have some great kids too!

I'm thinking the same thing.
Shabbat Shalom,
Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi Everyone,
I hope that everyone is well.
I'm finally to a much-needed weekend! Yeah!
I don't have any heavy plans and want to take it easy and maybe get some things done.
I really want to finish up the E-A v5.35 Tyranid Army Playtest list, but have a lot of blancing to do when looking at adjusting units and rules. Being a responsible designer can be work-intensive.
Progress reports are due on Monday, but thankfully, I'm almost done with mine.
I hope to finish compiling a trade for Mojarn too. I have to find a few more BLASTED Orkz (They're hiding!) for him! Sometimes, finding Orkz is tougher than finding Smurfs...
Diana, the GF, is working on ?rather impressive bead necklace. I've been roped into bringing her by a bead store this weekend. I like that she has a hobby though. It somewhat balances out my own out-of-control hobby!
Shabbat Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.
