Oooookay. Where were these acquired from? I tried to buy me some, but was told that the moulds had failed, and that the only copies were the prototypes...

They're Voss pattern Light cruisers similar in style to the Apocalypse Battleship and Falchion Escort. For some reason the models kept breaking the moulds so GW was never able to release them. They seem to be sort of a holy r?grail of BFG for a lot of players. Personnally I don't think they're that great looking but the craftmanship in those scratch built models is simply astounding!

Cheers! :)

I want em cos i love the aquila prow. It just looks far more impressive than the regular imperial prow.

Now, I reckon, given enough time, i could scratchbuild some of those, but it'd be a looooong job, and it'd not look as good as those...

He did it based on the info on this page; http://www.angelfire.com/games4/chubbybob/workshop1.htm

Anyways...Do we vote one per heat or one overall?

You can vote in each heat. The winners from each heat will go though to the final round.

Since Voting is at an early stage can I suggest to reorganize the heats?

I understand that could be a problem, but there are many people with many entries in the same heat, the heat five is almost exclusely made by piece by Farseer Draconic...

I don't want to criticize in any way the work of CiberShadow, and if things cannot change there are no problem, mine is just a suggestion.

Enjoy and good voting!!

Surely that's the point though. Reduce individuals' contributions down so that they only get one entry in the final, so there's as much variety to pick from in the final as possible...

If you add a whole heap of enteries u only harm ur own chances of winning. One of the  heats has about 6 or 7 entries from the same guy, with about two other enties from other people. So if one of them gets 2 votes and his 6 entries get 1 vote each he'll loose even though he got 6 votes :oo

Which is the way it should be :;):

Thanks for the comments guys. As for the issue of a number of entries in the same category, I dont necessarily consider it such a big problem.

Firstly, there is only one winner, so eventually the winner will need to beat all other entries, even those from the same painter.

Secondly, I actually considered this in advance. From the regs page...

...if you plan on entering this competition more than once, it is in your interest to wait a few days between entries. Otherwise you may find that you only three submissions are in the same heat in the first round, and therefore pitched against each other and only one will go through. Waiting to ensure that the three entries are in different heats maximises the odds of at least one of the entries getting through to the next round.

:D  If people wanted to submit seperately, then that was completely up to them.

As Kr00zA mentions, if someone has many entries in a single category, it is less likely that there will be competition in the same category, and he is more likely to get through.

It is all swings and roundabouts. I am afraid that I cant reorganise categories right now, as it would mean resetting all of the votes so far.

Phase one of the voting is now over. There will be be a short pause as I remove my socks and gloves in order to add up the totals and announce the heat winners.

Remember that the voting occurs in two places, so the results may be different from those displayed in the individual polls.

I will announce the winners and initiate the final vote soon. Thanks.
