Hi!
Heck, I have offered to re-scan, adjust the resolution and file size to make it smaller. But Jervis nor GW have taken me up on it.

How about getting the old PDFs from the Epicentre hosted on SG? This was more what I was thinking of.

Well the file I've got on my PC is only 1.9 mb so compared to the other articles on SG's site I think that's a very reasonable size. SM1 is the same size and Codex Titanicus is 2.3 mb. Whoever did those pdfs did a good job with the optimizing.
Well if someone just dumped those 3 files in a mail to Jervis I think everything should be fine for the time being. Then we can look at tweaking the rules to fit better with E:A...
Cheers!

Go for it, I'm sure Jervis would agree it's a good idea; can't think of any IP issues regarding them if GW themeslves are hosting them.

Allright. I'll send him the files then. What about counters though? We probably need some Data cards and templates to go with that or...?
Cheers!

Cool, well done WM!
Hmm.. the counters might have to wait for now, unless anyone has some good quality and nicely sized scans they could provide? If the PDFs are put up soon, SG could just promote them as an item of "Epic History"; useful for Game mechanics inspiration (possibly?), interesting background, art, etc.

You're probably right Storm. What I really like about those pdf's is just as mich the artwork and fluff they contain. ...Let's face it: With Fanatic's limited resources stuff such as original aartwork and fluff will probably become rarer and rarer.
Cheers!

Just a thought (knowing the age of the publication) GW may not be able to post the rules online as PDF as they may nto hold the rights to all the artwork/photos/text to allow them to post it in an electronic format online.
Nowdays they attempt to hold the copyright on everything that is submitted to them, but at that time they may have only had the rights to print and not for eletronic distribution.
Just a thought, I don't actually know either way...

Hi!
You may have a point there Jimbo. That is why companies like WoTC, for example, dont re-publish old adventures becuase they would need to ask for permission again from the people involved.
