The airship is a beauty WM, well done. :)

Great model and fluff piece too Kr00za, I really like this conversion!

I'm currently away from home for the weekend; and tommorow I will finally ge the oppotunity to do a proper test of my board... Can't wait!

I'm currently reading both 'Titus Groan' (first in the Gormenghast books by Mervyn Peake), which is fabulous. ?...and also 'A Transatlantic Tunnel, Hurrah!' by Harry Harrison, which is a superb bit of alternate history SF, set in a 20th century where America is still a set of British colonies, and Washington was executed after the Battle of Lexington.
It is very cleverly done, well thought out and nicely writtern, and has a real Victorian feel to it- highly reccomended!
(I'm sure Jimbo would enjoy it, if he hasn't read it already!)

Sounds good, however I didn't enjoy Harrison's Stars and Stripes triology, didn't even get past the first one, but always willing to try again, I will seek a copy out.

Looked over #9 at work ... not too bad ...  But nothing "earth shaking" !  :)  I'm finishing up reading Drakes's Hammer's Slammer, Paying the Piper.  Excellent !  Rereading the final chapter on the combined arms assault/blitzkrieg on the star port!  Too good ! Brings back some memories after serving in 3 Mech Bns ... but we had M113s, not GEVs/ACVs ! :;):

Heheh, yeah, you really must get that camera soon L4. I imagine your armies must be quite a sight ?

Last night I finished the Feral Ork Madboy Airship. I added a Kommando/Madboy to give the model some more life. Here's a quick pic of the result.

Cheers! ?:)

Having now read this official forum thread I am doubly impressed.

I thought it was a conversion of the FW Warmaster Dwarf Airship, but to quote WN

Correct. I originally thought abouot using the FW blimp but due to budget reasons (+ I couldn't bring it on myself to cut up such a nice model) I did my own version.
Incoming! #20 has a guide to how it was made but a quick recap:
Cut a rough shape from polystyrene add fins from cardboard and cover with PVA glue. Model on the balloon "sack" from Green Stuff by doing each "pad" individually. Then add strings and armour plating.

I am really really impressed.

Well done and can I have four please.

PS posted the picture in the quote as it is so good.

Heheh, thanks Jimbo :)  If I knew anything about resin casting I might have tried to do some copies but I'm afraid I'm just going to destroy both model and mould. Airships shoouldn't be the most difficult thing to cast though ???

Today I've dug out some Chimeras for my Tallarn army. Basically they were the only vehicle type which I hadn't painted for that army so now I'll finally be able to complete the vehicles section for the Epic Lounge version 2.0.
Now if only someone would paint up my 5 tactical infantry companies and 4 Heavy Companies for me... :p

Cheers! :)

Some time ago I remember having a discussion about 40K scale Boar Boyz, Tuff had painted his and I was using WHFB Orcs for mine.

I did finish a couple sometime back, but here is a pic of them nearly finished.

Well, so far I've been gamiong on my computer even more - borrowed a copy of DoW from friend - my, this thing almost completes by itself, plus got the ole UFO: Enemy Unknown running. :O :)

Modelling front shows some improvement. This Rhino Driver got _yet_another_ reworking of the helmet front, I think now it's about allright, the Chick from Hell also got a bit of extra work on her leg armor (since it was quite damaged), I also have to report some progress on WAR-02 "WARmaster" mech for BT.

I also had an idea for a diorama that could possibly win me a Demon... however not with my craptastic painting skills. :blues: Will post it tomorrow, so that maybe one of you could do it by his/her own.

Yep! However, I must admit I like the grenade launcher in Serious Sam. Blows up Kleer skeletons nicely.  And you can't beat the feeling of killing something around the corner. }:)

I should probably try Doom 3 for a change.

In addition to doing my Squats I have been planning the color scheme for my Empire fleet in Man O'War. Damn game. Since I bought it and both the supplements from eBay two months ago I've wasted an incredible amount of money. Meaning I now have a legal fleet for every race except undead and chaos. Well, actually I have a small Khorne fleet but I'm missing Slaanesh ships plus ships of the line for Nurgle and Tzeentch.    :blues:

Back to the Empire fleet. Since I have three Greatships I have planned to divide the fleet into three flotillas(?) each led by a Greatship. The Greatships are named Reikland, Middenland and Stirland. The flotillas are to be painted in the colors of the province. That way I don't have to paint the whole fleet in the same color.
