Hi guys,
I am about to embarc upon a very large project. Unfortunately, it is not based upon anything epic. (My final trade with Maksim went through and I don't have any more to work with)
I have just recieved a gaming table. I described what it was like on the Trades thread. I am going to make a whole series of tiles for the game board. To give an idea as to the scope of the project, I have just taken posession of 100 pound of Dental plaster and 38 different Hirst Arts molds. For those of you who are curious, I am going to build an entire ruined city - Mordheim to be precise.
So, here comes the question, does anyone want to see me post my progress with pictures over the coming months?
best regards
Dalton

Hi again,
So, where should I post the details? The amount of details may get a little daunting as I have a tendancy to run on at the keyboard. The idea was a step by step listing of the use of Dental Plaster, Hirst Arts Molds, making your own master molds as well as terrain table design and construction. Oh yea, can not forget that due to my insatiable need for all things gaming, I am painting up 6 box sets of BoFA. I am at the base-coated and first drybrush stage. Nice thing about BoFA, the mini's snap together for play and snap apart for painting. I have had 4 games so far and I love it.
Should I make a "Dalton's Personal Thread" like the others so that all the stuff is in one area?
Does anyone think there would be enough interest? Or should I just post the finished pictures?
best regards
Dalton

Just make yourself a "Mordheim Mega-board" thread in this section (General Minatures) - then you can run on to your heart's content!
(Storm is looking forward to seeing this)!

WHEW! Just got back from the oral exams of my project. It went reasonably well and I got a decent score. Best of all is, that I can now sell the product $$$
The last 24 hours were awfull though. I haven't been this nervous in a long time. In an attempt to relieve the stress I dug out the Feral Ork madboy airship last night and gave it a basic coat of paint. I still need to do some detail though. I think it would be a good idea to add some different colour metals to the "belly of the beast" to break up the colours a bit. Also some orky glyphs and perhaps a shark mouth in dirty red and whites might look nice.
Here's a WIP shot. I hope you like

Congrats on conquering once more WMN, look forward to seeing all the mini's you get once you sell your products and become a millionaire recluse.
