Hi,
I'd be ready to start whenever you lot decide, although I may have to be more of a conceptual artist rather than a modeller for some weeks depending on money/cost. Will be interesting to see what comes out of this project. 
With regards to limited stuff/OOP things. It might be better to not limit this at first (although we can try to avoid it), then when we see what people can come up with, we can take a search for alternative pieces that would be more readily available.

I agree. Better to just brainstorm away then swap out OOP parts for something else.

I have a little teaser pict up on my website front page of my Decimator. ?If only I would bother to paint it. ?I have this thing about not wanting to post stuff unless you can see the final version. I know, I know. ?I am really not lazy, just easily distracted.  ?My to do list sure is getting longer.
As for the Defiler bits. ?Yeah I put up my how to article and then two weeks later GW stops selling the bits. ?Lovely. ?Hopefully there will be a real GW model come end of this year or early next. ?But that still is undetermined as of yet.
