All great stuff, Jimbo! ?
My buddy has that Star War's "Landa" and will use it as a Dropship... if he ever gets it finished!
I have the F/W Ork aircraft too, the sizes certainly vary... I'll work with it. Historically, however, examples of size differences are everywhere.
But it would be nice F/W and S/G-G/W worked together a bit more!

Hi!
The FW Ork fliers are, as to date, the only FW fliers I will buy more of. They look nice and aren't in the "super size" variety other fliers from FW are.
All in all a very nice model.
Primarch.

Meant to post this picture some time back, but I had forgotten about the diary...
Ork Landa model put together and the gaps filled...
Here is a work in progress of my Ork Landa.

This is an all new model from GW and I did think the quality of the casting was rather sub-standard and the fit of the pieces poor.
I had to fill in quite a few gaps with green stuff, though the top fitted better than the underneath.
I have now undercoated the Landa with white paint.
As for colour, it will either be yellow like my flyboyz or red like my boyz.

Here are a couple of the Ork Airfield Defence Force[1] airfield vehicles.

The role of these vehicles is to support the function of the Flyboyz, but they are armed with light weapons and/or AAA weapons.
One of the models is armed with a flak weapon from a Flakwagon. The other is towing a Big Gunz trailer with two bombs (lifted from a FW Ork Bomma).
I am using the same basing structure as my Feral Orks to allow the models to be used with either army.
[1] I know a more Orkish name would be more in keeping with the fluff...

WooHoo, kettenkrads are great, really like them Jimbo. What's the body? scorcher tracks and plasticard? Following previous comments on my naming, I'll refrain and let a really orky person come up with one
