The new 'Nid sprue in the new 40K game has some interesting bug bitz that could be used for Epic! May have to get that sprue somehow! :) ?

And yes, the G/W - "Aliens" tie-in is blatant! :laugh:

Well, after looking through my archives, I couldn't find the old posts about our brainstorming ideas for Tyranid Terrain.

I do recall, however, that one of my key words was "organiform," a word that means that boxy shapes with corners and sharp angles are not included. A more smooth, round'ish ovular shape is the norm - similar to the shapes that living things have.

We discussed using seeds, shells and other naturally occurring items to get the feel of Tyranid terrain.

I have made a list of Tyranid terrain features for the new Tyranid army list I have been writing for E-A. For those of you who didn't know, I was appointed the Tyranid Champion by Jervis and am heading the playtest team that is developing Nids for E-A.

I will take a look at what bits can be taken from 40k models, it cant be too hard, maybe some sketches might help give me an idea to what I want it to look like.
