Well I am working on a brand new EPICentre, team effort - I am working on the coding, Doug has offered additional content (50 odd articles) and Stormseer is graphically overhauling the site. There is also about 220 pics for DeAynes.

Schedule for the next few months is as follows:

Nov 15th  - DeAynes Update
Dec 15th  - Incoming #20
Jan  15th  - New EPICentre unveiled

Every three months, the EPICentre will gain new articles to bolster it's database. We will be doing regular updates to boost content.

The new site will provide considerably more EPICy goodness and will look pretty with lots of bright shiny objects (in a gothic kinda way).

Had only about 1/2 of an hour to work. The symbol on the Lucius's pad is almost done, it had been a real smite in the brains to get both parts looking about the same.

netepic> Does this means DeAynes will start to fill some of its gaps in with what you have, and will you be wanting me to submit Hellebore and various knights as and when I've got them painted?

Definately, we will be attempting to plug any gaps in the collection, any EPIC pictures you have are desperately needed :).

Especially Hellbore ones ;).

Just got to wait for it to show up in the post, mate - next week, maybe?

Mind you, there is a painted one on Dropship - ask Carl Woodrow if you can use the pic, perhaps?

Cool - I will set everything up for you then ;)

My sinister tone? Do you think that is where I am going wrong with the ladies then?

Come to me my pretty, sit upon my trembling thighs and allow me to utter sweet nothings into your ear. A drink? I prepared this one earlier - trust me, you will like the aftertaste.

For requesting pictures? Odd pre-requisite, one might think ;)

Got my Siege Troops today! But the Hvy Rags and SM-C packs are back ordered! :( ?

Pretty nice molding of the Infantry, Lt. Cav Tanks, Tractors and Guns! I don't like the T/Guns & Rapier carriages being molded to the base, but I'll deal with it!

The Lt. Cav Tanks are definitely Tankettes! 2 man jobs like the FT-17. Small(!), as many have said before! :;): ?

I also got the W/M Nurglings to use with my Chaos Army! Nice pieces too!

I also got my 6 new copies of Drake's Hammer's Slammers books! Should be interesting. I'm re-reading the book I have. And will start "The Tanks Lords" as soon as I finish!

As I said, his writings fit my mood and mental state. :D

I got a nice package this morning too!
- Fanatic 4 & 5, and a few more blisters for my IG, including the new Sentinels and Storm Troopers... :)

Hi!

*opens blister*

Well- first impressions are very good- they don't suffer from excess flash as some other people's have, just a few spindly bits which come off with no problems...
The sculpts are very well done, the casting is crisp and all the details show perfectly.

While they could perhaps have had a slightly more imaginitive pose, I think they are worth it!
Sure; if you aren't much of a painter or modeller, it is doubtful wether the difference in apperance they will have to a normal stand of guard makes them worth buying, but if you plan to spend a little time on them (like me :;): ) ..then yeah, they are great.

Now.... just got to save up for a set of Valkyries from FW to transport them!  :;):

I'm also liking the Sentinels; a couple of different leg parts might have been nice, but I'll have a go at converting some as this shouldn't be hugely difficult!

[edit] noticed I've got 9 sprues of Storm Troopers instead of just 8!  ....a great little bonus!  :;):
