Nice stuff WMN - how did you achieve the rivetted metal work effect?

You are the Tuffskull of modelling! But sometimes it hurts to see all the minis sacrificed, even if it is for the Greater good...
Let's see: there are two Mark 1 Hellhounds and what looks like a Piranha without a turret. But where did you get those wonderful tracks? Armorcast? And what is the hull made of? Foamcore?

Allright, not much done, as I had to fix up a pocket in my coat, then my glasses (the glue has lost strength) and then the stereo extender cable I have constructed long ago for my own devious purposes.
All I have done was slapping a basecoat on the Battle Sisters.

My Word Bearer army grows, and I;ve added some Land Raiders and Chosen...
...but what do you guys use as proxies for Furies, Obliterators, Havocs and Raptors?

welll, it's not that I DO use them but for Furies I'd probably use Warmaster Chaos Harpies and make Obliterators from Terminators in vain attempt to emulate WM Nice and Tuffskulll. Havocs and especially Raptors are a lot more problematic. For havocs your demagogues could always corrupt some Devastators. For Raptors I have no idea.

Just recorded an Audio CD on a school computer. It should keep me functioning for a while - I simply can't function properly without some good music in my ears.

Working on a long report on cinematic alien life forms - and how correctly they are represented - and why (not). Sighs - did you know Tyranid Titans couldn't exist as represented by GW?

I was thinking and could not remember, at what page count do we need to close this thread and start the next one?
Seems like I remember it was in the 70s.

I think it was at some 700 posts... Is it just me or are these threads running faster aand faster? -Not a bad thing mind you!
Side note: I'm also almost finished with 3 Ork Drop Roks. Will post pics ASAP.
TAS: The rivets are made by pressing a pointed object into a metal foil I use for the armour plating. The foil is thincker than regular tin foil and comes with my contact lenses. I'm not sure if there's anything similar arround which you can get in a normal store. Pretty easy actually. I'm including a more thorough description on this in the Article about the Feral Ork Madboy Airship I'm working on for Incoming!
Cheers!

Cheers! | I think it could be because there are more members and thus more of us regulars.
I can't wait to see the Drop Roks.
