I have been pondering this, and I would like to add some reasonably cool pictures to the new site design. But, my artistic ability stops at matchstick men. Is there anyone who is able to do this? I would, obviously, provide full credits for any graphics created. PM me if you think that you would be interested.
Thanks.

What type you'd need? I suck at hand-drawing totally, but at digital stuff I'm thinking of my skills as rather good.

If you want stuff like logos and such graphics I wouldn't mind giving it a try. Just let me know how big you want 'em, format, and some thematic guidelines. I can't guarantee it will look any good but at least I'd have had some good fun trying. The suggestions for the EpiCentre t-shirts would be my best example on my abilities (or lack of the same )
Cheers!

Thanks for the responses so far. To be honest, while I have an idea of what I want, and what it could be used for, I am less set on any particular style or type. Primarily, I am looking for 'eye candy' type graphics, that I could dot around and generally use to make the site more interesting. One comment that came back was that this site is a little plain, and I want to keep it tasteful, but add more pictures to break things up with. That being said, I do have a specific graphic in mind, that I may get on with. However, any types of graphics would be great. If anyone is interested, let me know before they spend the time on this.
Thanks.

If I can throw in my 2 cents. ?
First I know nothing of grahics so I can't help there. ?Sorry. ?I'm just good with excel. ?But I am a long time lurker.
If planing on a set of graphics to a site I would recommend relatively simple ones. ?
The ones I have always liked best was shots of miniatures in photoshop backgrounds. So a BFG ship appeared to actually be in a nebula, etc. ?
This versus the flash grahics or music. ?Please no music. ?Little things dancing across the screen and stuff really push a buttons.
So there you go the lurker speaks. ?
Back to watching... ? ? ? ?

Thanks. All comments and suggestions are always welcomed. Generally, I agree with what you say. I also like the photoshop'ed mini pictures, but I will probably save graphics of this type for individual articles, and have banners and pictures on main pages.
There will certainly be no sound!
There may be animation (if I can get around to getting it done), but it will be subtle and very limited. I dont want flash cartoons or large files, so this will be limited to spinning buttons if at all. Nothing dancing across the screen! I want to go for a profession and reasonably mature design, but one which is interesting and 'cool'. Now, lets see if I can achieve it!
I hope that this reduces any fears!
