Don't lose hope TAS you still have us. While the industry itselft is not the brightness part of our hobby the people are.
I have found some great gamers here and that is the ONLY reason I play epic. The gamers.
Sorry for the experience, but it was a lessoned learned.
Take Care

Hi!
This tempers my b***hing and moaning over GWUS. GWAUS is just aweful. You have reason to be pissy, I'd be too.
But as I, you'll get over it and adapt to the realities of the epic market.
Sometimes I wonder if GW WANTS non core games to fail....

Interesting job preservation method.
*Come out with a game. *Hype it a lot at first. *Get people excited enough to buy it. *Stop or limit post intro support. *Allow game to die. *Reintro game. Repeat for $ and Job security....

Hi!
Its been my mantra for years regarding GW's treatment of non-core games (mainly epic)...
..too many promises...
..too little of them kept...

Thats for the support gents, I was kinds angry when I got home and wrote that ...if you couldnt tell
And yes to be fair some if the terrain was very nice. Pity it was all 40k, WFB or LOTR though.
Your comments echo my thoughts well Daf. As the only GD in Australia it was pretty poor. I know I'm comparing to what I saw in UK at SALUTE and GD UK, but it was very amateurish, and I didnt pay $30 for an amateur setup.
CC - you are right on the money there, and as I have always said, its the people here in this forum that keep my interest in Epic alive.
I'll let you know what I get back from GW Oz - if anything. No doubt it will be lauded as a triumph regardless.

Well...
Did some job on painting the oasis terrain piece Worked a bit further on the Callidus and the Assault Marine Female Crusader will be ready for painting either today or tomorrow, depending on the time I'll have to spend on scultping the shield handle Sorting through my bits box, I managed to squeeze the last good of it, in the form of two broken craptastic second edition plastic Tactical Marines. An hour of hacking, sawing, filing and drilling, I had a wonderful Tactical Marine with Bolter on my desk. Unfortunately, this really WAS the last of my bitz box too...

Oh heck, just realised the competition deadline is 30th November not 30th October! At least I can breathe now.... Meanwhile... well, I'm trying to finish my astronomy postgrad... if all goes well, the end comes on the 22nd November. Results out a couple of weeks after that. Gulp!
