Hadn't looked at the BFG part of the online store for a while- just noticed the new warsphere is out~
http://uk.games-workshop.com/storefr....=300808
Looks a good model- expensive though, and methinks that stand will snap rather easily...

Yup saw it the other day too. You really have to be a Tau fan to buy them I think. I can't believe they're the single most expensive BFG model (well except for the Ramilles).. It must be huge!
Cheers!

They are... *just*
Background says that they used Ork tech to get the basics, and now the Tau have helped them along and made their ships a little more spaceworthy and useful in battle.

Humm - I like it - a lot - but it's one of the models which is farthest from the way I pictured it before it appeared. Hummmm. Doesn't exactly scream 'Kroot!' at me. If it weren't so expensive, ideal stuff for making an Epic Chaos Doomwheel.

Doomwheel... I only just realised that the Skaven treadmill thingy was called doomwheel. How 'bout a conversion where, instead of rats, the thing is propelled forward by flesh hounds.
Seriously, that would make a nice Hrudd supercrawler or something.

"Doomwheel... I only just realised that the Skaven treadmill thingy was called doomwheel. How 'bout a conversion where, instead of rats, the thing is propelled forward by flesh hounds" I - won't -bite! Aaargh!
So - can they be used as mercenaries with other fleets? (The Kroot warsphere , not the conversion stuff)

According to the Armada only with Tau fleets. One if the fleet is up to 1500 points and two if larger.
