Stunned! Warmaster, those are terrific! Nice to see those big, clumsy guns too - they fit on Nurgley tanks. :D

I must have been one of the names that made you wince. Don't worry I am going to try real hard. ?:p

Lol, not at all :p, you know I am your number one fan!

Why thank you.

I am looking forward to having a hand in this. Seems like it will be fun to play a part in the creation beyond just posting my wish list and bitching when I do not get my way.

painted up the Nurgle Land Raiders today. Judging from the pics I need to go over them and do a bit of touching up but al in all I'm pretty satisfied with the result. I thought I'd do some "classic chaos" with lots of tentacles and daemonic faces so this is the result ?:p
Sorry that the pics are rather dark; it's getting late but I'll put up some better pics on my website soon.

Cheers! ?:)

WMN,

I love your work and I hate it. I hate it because it is so far and above anything I can do, yes I am jealous.  :p

But I love it because I enjoy seeing what a real artist can do.  :;):

Thank you for sharing regardless of how Green I get!

Blush

Thanks.
Dafrca: Well it'd probably be an exaggeration to cal me an "Artist". I just like to set myself a challenge. It's fun to see what can be done but I'd be lying if I said that I didn't enjoy the kind feedback from you guys as well. :;):  The best part is still if some of my stuff can inspire someone to come up with new and better ideas. I'm allways quick to nick a good idea when I see it and think its great if it works the other way arround too. That's what forums are all about.

Vanvlak: Yeah, the crude look really fits Nurgle and is a dead easy conversion to do as well. After this project I really feel like doing some more Nurgle armour at some point. The only problem is, that I'm running low on Rhinos and Land Raiders. (Some are reserved for my Blood Axes) I also think the whole Daemonic face thing would look nice on Slaanesh units as well but at the moment I have no plans to include any other armoured units than Knights in my Slaanesh force.

Cheers! :)

WMN

I am rather speechless. ?Your nurgle LRs and your feral ork balloon are simply fantastic. ?You are a very talented modeller and should submit them to GW for use in Fanatic mag or something.

Now will you and tuffsull please stop raising the bar and making the rest of us feel inadequate? ?Thanks :)

Actually your LRs are rather inspiring and have given me some ideas for my own Chaos stuff- thanks

I've started doing some colour testing for my Chaos, beggining with Word Bearers (because as far as I can tell noday has done epic Word Beaers yet). ?Blood Red with silver trimming. ?They look good but what a LOT of fine detail. ?It took me 4 hrs to do 4 stands. ?Its not a very practical scheme for a mass Chaos Army but I'll at least finish one WB unit off to say I am the first!

Hehe, sorry guys:D  It'll be a while before you see anything new from me. I promise :;):  I need some time to come up with a few new ideas so for the moment it's plain old rank and file troops. :)

Cheers! :)

:O

WMN I am stunned... the airship and landraiders are simply incredible!!!  It is almost a crime to paint these before they have been moulded!!  Ever thought of doing that and selling these things???

Actually wouldn't it be nice if Fanatic cast it for him.

One of the things I liked about GW in the past was the new models they released which added to an army (this is pre-Codex). It made it a nightmare in terms of playing games as you had to carry a bundle of WDs with you.

Having said that, one of the nice things about Warmaster has been the additional models that have been added to the range (notably the Orcs and Goblins) but all the new models have been counts as...

You could use the airship as a counts as Landa for example.

WMN why not contact Fanatic they may even pay (?450) for it...
