Cheers!

WMN - are these in the Old (couple of editions back) 40K codex - because if so, I might have just woken up from a big sleep and could scan them....doh!

Hmmm... I don't really know. It's the ones used in the complete 40k scale Ultramarines chapter the Studio did some years back. I'm not exactly sure what edition that would be. If it's not too much trouble I'd like the scans anyway. It can't hurt to have a library of these things you know
Cheers!

I reckon we would all have bits to contribute- I know my HDD is full of bits like that.
On online modelling resource like that for us with banners, chapter symbols and the like would be very handy indeed...

Hi WMN, here's what's in the old 40K Codex Ultramarines: 1 page of black and white banner outlines, including co.s 2-5 Colour: epistolary terminator; lexicanium; codicier; epistolary; Marneus Calgar; Dreadnoughts in co.s 1,2,3; co.s 2-5; captains, co.s 2-5; 2 different chaplain banners; 2 terminator squad captain banners.
The more recent codex has none; the new codex hasn't arrived here yet!
So, if you need any scans, just say which (all? ) and I'll proceed. Where should I post them to (without infringing copyrights!) ?

Quote (Warmaster Nice @ 14 2004 Oct.,08:01) | I think the idea of a "banner library" would be a great idea. Basically a place where we could have iconography for most major races along with submissions of handpainted stuff (if people are able to scan them) or computer made images). | I think so too and would be happy to be the POC for such a project. After its setup, I'll have a URL where it can d/l from so whn I am away it is still accessible.
The biggest issue is obviously copyright issues, but I'm sure we can get around that as we are using them for GW modelling purposes and most of them have disclaimers like "permission to photocopy/reproduce" on them anyway.
If you are interested lemme know and we'll get this off the ground. We may have to start a new thread to get the message out there

Hi Warmaster (and all) , I emailed the first set of banners yesterday - did it get there, and if so, are they ok? If yes, I'll go on with the job.

Hi Warmaster, if it's a problem I'll split the image in three (i.e. separating the 3 banners). Cheers.
