Yep, that was my thought too. 
$500 would by me 10 tank companies and still have $100 left over for extras.

500 would pay me a month an a half of my rent. I am a little bit more terrenal right now. And yup, play epic if you want several of those, but it is still a huge mini. In last years golden demon there were 2 40k scale warlords IIRC. Will try to locate the pictures.

I remember the old armorcast warlords and great gargants. They were great models and less expensive than their FW counterparts.
