Hey T5H, just checked out your site. (At university, for some reason I can't get to your site from my home computer). Awesome proxy counters you've made there!

(edit) ... and although I think I may have said it before - Gideon is an amazing piece of work!

Well, none of the newer thingies are added yet, and the bugfixes have not been uploaded as well, as I'm first working on the site offline at home, and then uploading on the net.

And yes, it was said before... but I appreciate that you like it anyway.

So far, most of the new gallery additions have been sorted out, now I'm modifying the gallery to work on.

On Saturday I was helping in getting people to sign a petition to withdraw Polish military from Iraq, and it took me some few hours - when I was back, I was too tired for anything that concerns the site itself.

Ah, well, Sunday was enough to get most of the work done.

I have stripped some more old Mechs - and to my astonishment, the new nail polish remover worked in the blink of an eye - the paint began wearing out before I finished pouring it onto miniature! Among the stripped minis was my beloved old Warmaster assault mech, who has already been reassembled. Some GS to fill the gaps and to painting him we go!

MadCat is also getting reassembled soon.

Finally got to making some use of the Citadel Jungle Trees sprue - and ended up with a nice patch of a jungle that needs only soem flocking and painting.

Oh, and BTW, what is the competition Stormseer adn Jimbo mentioned about? What could be the entry?

Well, I havent been doing much in epic lately outside of commission work. So its just one army a fortnight I'm afraid :p

However, I am enjoying painting gladiators at the moment & other assorted "different" figures. They just seem to paint up really fast to a decent level & I'm squeezing in work on them wherever I can at the moment!

The rearmost piece is still a WIP, but will probably be complete by the end of tonight!

P.S. more pics are up on my site update today - The epic Tundra army from my workbench will be added in the next update.

Thanks Justinel :D

They're all regular minis.

The Dwarf slayer & the two pit fighters behind him are from GW's mordheim range.
The Others are all from West Wind Produtions "Gladiator Wars" range.

Hi!

Very nice! Are they for use in any particular game system?

Great as ever Tuff! -I particually like the 'cracked stone' bases, a nice touch...

Primarch- I would imagine they are intended for the Mordheim: Pit Fighter game from Fanatic mag #1...

Thanks! The bases are dead easy to do, but I have decided that I like the style too - only down side is that some of the pieces now have very small ( & thus weak) contact points between model & base.

& Yes, they are somewhat with Fanatic's Pit fighter in mind. However, they are mainly just being done for fun - they're a range that paint up nice & quick which keeps me productive on the painting front without getting bored stiff with painting 24 / 7!

I must finish off my "pit" sometime too...... so much onthe list & so little time :{

Has anybody got any reccomendations for other gladiator ranges which I could expand to once I've covered the 24 West Wind Pieces?

I'm tempted by Steve Barber miniatures' range or Black Tree Designs but any hints would be appreciated. :)
