Finished a company Krieg Siege Infantry and some Stormswords for the Painting Comp. The infantry still needs basing though but must say that I'm very pleased with the way this force is progressing. It has a very stong theme which ties the minis together nicely. Now I only need to do some Gorgons and scratch built Bruenhilde tanks. -Perhaps some Thudd Guns too and -if I can find the time- scratch built Ragnarok Heavy Tanks.
Cheers!

Indeed It is an ordered miniature, but yup, it exists. Only one of them, though-. | [dafrca walks through the pictures in stunned silence.]

Who was it that was working on an Orky "Apocalypse Now" type air landing force with a ramshackle assortment of landas and the like?
Hows it going? I thought it was a great idea and was wondering how it was getting together. Please excuse me if I've missed a post with an update in my absence.
Cheers Tas

Hi,
Been helping my parents clean out their attic today and managed to get my hands on a lot of cool stuff. Other than all my old gaming stuff and a few boxes of books (including a load of old Jackson/Livingstone BattleBooks), I found mint boxes of Harpoon and 2nd Fleet (huge naval wargaming! Woohoo!), all my old consoles and computers, and a few more boxes of CDs and videos. Ah, I love the smell of nostalgia in the morning, or is it just the smell of musty loft stink?
Luckily, I finished the last of my Crimson Fists to a gaming standard yesterday. Still have to put details on some and base most of them, but I'm happy that they're almost finished, and now I can put them to one side for a few days whilst I sort out all of this stuff I found.
Cheers, Freshmetal

I've almost finished the card mock-up for my Open entry, and have been gathering together stocks of plasticard and balsa ready to begin creating the proper model....

just a reminder that discussing competition entries is NOT allowed, even though this forum post does not do that, just thought I would remind people

Yeah- thought I would be okay posting that.. but what exactly is defined as "discussion of entries"?

Your posting came pretty close to the line. If it had gone over that line it probably would have been deleted and you warned. Further transgressions would have resulted in disqualification.
As you haven't actually posted an entry yet... that line is really yet to be drawn fully.
However for everyone's benefits.
Basically the rules state that you may for each entry only post one posting, with your entry photograph as an attachment.
Anything else posted, websites, etc, would be in breach of the rules.
The reason is that an entry that is discussed fully on the boards would have had more "airtime" than other entries and therefore could have an advantage over an entry which had no discussion in that more people were aware of the discussed entry then the non-discussed entry.

I've been busy with work and school but this long weekend gave me some much needed down time. Just finished this and I'm starting on my marine force which will see it's first battle at the end of the month(hopefully it will be finished).
