Well, PC IS finally about useable. Just the secondary IDE is fried... I managed to install the soundcard, though! Will have to reinstall W95 on the larger HDD and then just switch from having two HDD's AND a CD-ROM drive to ONE HDD AND CD-ROM or two HDD'S, NO CD-ROM. Unless, naturally, I return to the old mainboard (doubtful).
Other than this, began fixing up some of the flesh on one of my "Chicks from hell" and converting a Dark Angels Leader to use in my DA army.

I've added and painted up a heavy stubber for Jarth, my Goliath gang's heavy after he had his autocannon jam and explode.. I've got a few other conversions to do after a few games today.
Oh, and I made a new spreadsheet roster as my old one was getting a little dogeared...

Sorry WM - was it the JHKLSDGOI FGJHDYEHJKKDJPPSJJD or the UIOAEWHOIVBIO FGJHDYEHJKKDJPPSJJD? I'm doing the former, so if it was the latter that's ok I guess..... although I think one of your inspired conversions would be better - I'm waiting to see what you come up with.

BTW what does people use to wash of the mould grease? I've tried with dish wash, and washing powder + a brush but water still seems to be peeling off the surface afterwards. I'm a bit nervous as the large plain surfaces will make it much harder for paint to stick than with the usual small minis...

Don't worry about it- I had the same problem with the libarium and administratum for my terrain- just get it covered with a good black spray undercoat and you'll be sorted..

PC is still incapable of normal operation. Curse you, Microsoft! Printer drivers are supposed to be on the installation CD... guess what, they arent! (it's Win 98 SE, BTW). Can anybody help me? I need to print several docs ASAP. The printer is HP DeskJet 600 with colour option.
Didn't do much. More unpacking then working on models, but so far so good - most of the boxes' contents fit in easily into a small part of the room furniture. This means a lot of free space!

I took a 3 week break from painting to regain my inspiration and it worked. In the last week of my holiday I started three projects: a 40k marine assault squad, my third squat warrior brotherhood and a custiodian titan. I took pictures of the last one as it is nearly complete; it's only missing banners and varnish but for some reason all the pics were out of focus. I'll take new ones during the weekend.
For the record: custodian titan is a warlord with a custodian head and a devotional bell.

Do you have access to the 'net for downloads? (obviously you have net access for the forum, but you never know about downloading stuff) Because there are several driver sites out there, just search for em and you will (probably) be able to find your driver, even if HP no longer supports it.

Since the temperature is still too high for painting anything I've been working a bit on some buildings for soem Cityfight terrain pieces. I also assembled and undercoated two more Gargantuan Squiggoths (they arrived this morning).
Another idea which has been spoofing about in my head is to do some veichles for the Nurgle faction of my Chaos army. I was thinking of doing some Rhinos which should be pretty straightforward with a few bubols here and there but also some Land Raiders. I plan to replace the side sponsons with some huge crude cannons and perhaps instead of treads let it drive on two huge daemonic slugs (!) -Should look different at least
Cheers!

It takes me over a month to just assemble one Forgeworld Squiggoth, Warmaster Nice assembles and undercoats two in just a few hours...
Must do more painting and modelling.

It is possible that I have too much time on my hands... (at least converting Tanks into giant slugs should be a pretty good indicator of that:;): Well my summer holidays end this weekend so this should take the steam of the modelling madness for?a while:cool:
Cheers!
