Bearing in mind I missed most models from the earliest SM releases 'til now.
Favourite:
Infantry trooper; the old ork madboy
Light Vehicle; prob the old ork buggy
Standard Tank; older Leman Russ, the ones with bolters, sandbags etc
Super Heavy; so far the FW Baneblade
Flier; has to be the new thunderhawk (closely followed by the ork landa
Titan (type and class); ole beetle back
Other (in case I missed anything); not sure
Least favourite:
Infantry trooper; the original marine trooper
Light Vehicle; has to be the new Deth Kopter
Standard Tank; prob the old ork battletank (with skull)
Super Heavy; hmmmmm
Flier; the original thunderhawk
Titan (type and class); the proposed new revenant
Other (in case I missed anything); any/all of the Daemon figs

Favourite:
Infantry trooper- Marine commander... a timeless classic.. 
Light Vehicle- Do Eldar Knights fall into this catagory? ..the old Wraithlords were pretty cool too...
Standard Tank- All of FW's Eldar range...
Super Heavy- The new Scorpion (when it comes out), or FW's Stormsword...
Flier- FW Valkyrie.. and the Thunderbolt.. oh and maybe the Marauders too- but when the Eldar flyers come out.. they will beat everything I'm sure.
Titan (type and class)- Mk1 Eldar Phantom... and the original Reaver or course..
Other (in case I missed anything) FW make rather nice terrain too....
Least favourite:
Infantry trooper- the Ork Nobs
Light Vehicle- plastic SM bikes
Standard Tank-those horrible old Vindicators...
Super Heavy- none really...
Flier- 1st Thunderhawk
Titan (type and class)- Megagargant and, (even though I bought one) the Imperator...
Other (in case I missed anything)- The Goliath megacannon is pretty horrible imo...
[EDIT] ..do you mean the old Stormblade CS? -it had a plasma blastgun and a rack of missiles...
[EDIT2] ..oh, and add the horrible Khorne demon engines to my 'dislike' list...

Others - sorry L4, the oldest Knight lancers
Least favourite:
Infantry trooper - Epic SM Tzeentch disc rider
Light Vehicle - Epic SM bikes
Standard Tank - the Space Marine era plastic Ork Battlewagon
Super Heavy - nothing really bad
Flier - the weird Eldar Epic SM era Nightwing
Titan (type and class) - Epic 40K era faceted Phantom

Flier - Eldar Vampire Raider
Titan (type and class) - Original Metal Reaver
Least favourite:
Infantry trooper - Original Space Marine (too small)
Light Vehicle - Original Land Speeder Mk1
Standard Tank - Original Plastic Orc Tanks
Super Heavy - Can't think of one, so I will say "new" Eldar Titans again here.
Flier - Original Eldar Night Wing
Titan (type and class) - BB Warlord or the new Eldar Titans

I do not "like" them, I just did not think they were the worst thing made. I kept some in both my IG and Eldar armies just for fun though.

Well if they are re-introduced in the upcoming Adeptus Mechanicus list it's certainly a possibility. I'd personally like to see something which looks more like a walking weapons platform than a cyborg spacemarine... really: the plastic Knights were pretty awfull

You can hardly say the metal Eldar Knights are not works of art... no really, you can't, can you....
-btw... Does your aversion to Knights come as a result of your more 'realistic' take on Epic L4, or do you just dislike the models/the concept?

Good question Storm, I'd say both. Unrealistic ... the whole concept as well as the models didn't work for me. But if you guys like'm - use'm !

Yep ! ?All 10 of my plastic TL Knights went to the Dark Side ! ?4 to Khorne and 3 each to Nurgle and Tzeentch ! ?  [Edit] - I used the G/W Hell Knight for Slann ! Just checked the War Room ! With 9 armies, sometimes I forget ! Old, you know ...
