More Necromunda goodness... busy with the gluegun and plasticine last night, getting?the Firebase stuck down and positioned correctly.. I'm going to model the plasticine around the model to blend it into the base and make it more realistic and 'abandoned' -check out the pics of my ruins and other Necro terrain to get an idea of what it should look like...
I was cutting some wire mesh for my second terrain piece (more on that when this one is finished.. ? ) and happened to notice that the Firebase would look a little better with a handrail round the lower bunker- so, out came the pin vise and superglue, and there it was... I bought some crates and barrels along with some paint from GW today, so these will be used to add some extra detail to the model. I decided to damage the handrail a little to make it fit better with the disused feel of the base (I imagine it to be an Enforcer outpost which has been abandoned), so I just chopped it about a little, and added the ladder to give models a way to move up onto the roof.... Got a game or two lined up for tommorow.. so hopefully some upgrades will be gained for my trusty gangers... ?

Nice work storm! The pic you showed me was only the base! It looks a lot better now!
Are you planning on painting it all, or leaving the building as-is and painting the base?
Cheers
Chris

..I don't quite have the nessecary talent to make the printed card look any better than it does, so I'll just be texturing and painting the base.. I spent a few hours on it today, gluegunning bits of foam and stones on and sculpting plasticine over it... Also played a few games, so there are several alterations needed for my gang members to get them properly WYSIWYG....

I painted up an entire horse - feeling fairly proud.... as that is a lot for me! Was told that apparently I look 'sexy' painting by the GF, so will make more of an effort to paint in the future. I know understand why TS loves painting so much, and why he has such a gorgeous bird .

All of them are in the gallery at my site, uploading completed right now. And there are a couple articles on painting stuff plus a whole instruction on how I did the Emperor's Champion... worth checking, mind ya!

Working on some Beetleback variants:
Corvus Warlord - A Corvus Warlord with two Corvus assault pods, two gatling Blasters and I can't decide between either a Corvis Assault head (That'd be an entire Terminator company sans Land Raiders!!!) or a Gunhead...
Scratch-built Divisio Telepathica Psi-Titan - The other one is a scratch-built Divisio Telepathica Psi-Titan. Lots of greenstuff as I plan to fill most of the carapace with Gothic architecture... Sort of a "mini-Imperator." This will get the Custodian head, which should fit nicely. This Titan is however still very much in the planning stage.
Cheers!

Just checked out the Photobucket. (Hits head on the wall) Now I'll have to transfer all the graphics to that site!!! Aaaarggghhh!
But then I'll get rid of the bandwidth issues, which is weell worth the time.

Worked on trimming, filing, etc., some of my new E:A pieces, yesterday.
I think W/M mentioned this before, but the Basilisks and Rhinos that I got did not mold out in certain areas as well as they should have.
I can say the same for the L/Russes, so far too. I'm sure they will paint up fine, but for the cost, I'd hoped for better.
