I need some help. In one of the Games Workshop/Fanatic magazines (I know it was not a White Dwarf) there was a picture/illustration of a large IG transport offloading some tanks etc.

Does anyone know the one I am talking about and if you do, what issue/magazine it was in?

Any help would be nice.

Er.. if you mean a new picture, then there was a cool EoT/Cadian picture, it had some of the Cadian characters, a HUGE ship in the background, and some flyers too...

In fact... *vanishes upstairs* ....there is a small reproduction on pg 121 of the Epic:A rulebook... probably not the one, but a great picture anyway.. ?:;):

The full monty appears in the WH40K Codex Imperial Guard (the 2004 edition, mind); and something similar, but far more Gothic, comes in Codex WitchHunters for the Inq.

If you find the GW UK website, go to the WH40K site, fing the IG site there, then the desktop link: part of the picture is one of the downloads.  :;):

OK, sense I posted this I have been thinking. It was the half sized magazines, I am thinking Inferno.

The illustration was a Black and White. It showed a very large ship that had landed. It was offloading a whole line of tanks. Clearly IG.

I have Fire Power and Epic Mags ( now both defunct !) ... ???   Don't recall seeing it. ???  Just a sidebar ... G/W US told me that Fanatic Mag will hit the US in July !   I'll keep my scouts out for this MIA pic ... :;):

It was an drawing and thus I am not sure if it was for any game per say. I am sorry this old mans memory is not better.

Invasion of Obzidian! It was in an Infernoi magazine not sure which one don't have my issues, but I remember it. Illustrated by the same person who did the "Obvious Tactics" series. It had several illustrations, in one; an orbiting bombardment cathedral being moved into position by tugs. I'm I right?

Yes, that sound about right. The person who did this illustration also did a fort/very big gun in another issue.

Yah, that is the same style as the Dropship illos.

This is driving me crazy, can't find it.

OK, I have given up.

I have no idea why it seems so hard to find. I went through a friends collection last night. Now he does not have every issue of the Inferno, but still.  :{
