Well could understand it when it was 'Royal Mail' I mean the workers all needed crowns, servants, corgies and scepters to maintain the image of class. However, now it has been renamed to 'Insignia' they should be able to delegate the workload to college students and underpaid programmers so one would expect it to be much cheaper .

I was going to offer the cheat the system for you & act as a middle man, but then I looked into it.
Postal prices can be found here: Royal mail airmail pricesRM Air mail.
I dont have FM1 to hand to check weight, but it Seems that it would add about ?2 to each issue (postage as seen + envelope cost & weight).
That makes it ?6 an issue, for a total of, scarily enough, ?72 so I cant do it any cheaper
I guess the difference is that you're not getting a discount on the cover price for subscribing - UK subscribers get 3 issues free.

So much for the Fanatic magazine then... Unless: a) The one and only GW store in Finland has them and b) I can coerce someone in Helsinki to visit the store once a month.

don't know if this will be the case for number 2 and ahead, but you can download the content of the magazine 1 as a pdf in the specialists games website.

Regs,
Xavi | It is slated to be policy on ALL articles, from all issues. Makes for a good resource if you only play 1 of the games

Hi!
Given that the articles are available for download as PDF, my motivation for a subscription is about...
..zero...

I kinda agree with Primarch here. Seeing as I only play Epic (BFG has died for me...) I might just download the articles. Forget a subscription for a mag which I only read 1/6th of!
Cheers
Chris

Hi!
My sentiments exactly Chris, which is why I said from the very beginning that a "combined" magazine was a bad idea. I have no interest in any other GW game so the rest of the magazine is of no value to me. Since they are kind enough to put the epic articles in PDF, I'll download those.

Personally I take the opposite view..
I hadn't been buying the b&w Fanatic mags, other than the Epic ones and the occasional BFG Mag, because I didn't have the cash... Now I can get a magazine with Necromunda, Epic and BFG in for less ?, and in colour too, and with other games like Mordheim and Warmaster I also have a passing interest in, I'm very pleased, and will be getting a sub as soon as I have the cash...

I bought all the previous Epic Mags... but like most other people, I won't buy a combined mag when I only play epic.

Hi!
Although in fairness to Fanatic, its probably cost prohibitive for them to do more than one mag. Magazines usually lose money for gaming companies, so Fanatics already tight resource budget may not have room for more than one magazine and thus the compromise.

Bear in mind the old mags were black and white, and had limited print runs... the new one won't be that much cheaper, I would think- it is probably more expensive in fact...
