Warmaster Nice- cool battle, great write-up, nice pics.
That is the sort of battle they should have featured in WD/Fanatic Mag. More titans than you can shake a stick at. Thats what the punters want!!!
Have you got any close-up pics of the new style Imperial Warlords- the ones in green. I am trying to work out what weapon configurations you have gone for.
I have assembled one of the new Warlords with standard weapon config but I want to do my 2nd one differently. Always interesting to see what other weapon configs others have come up with.
Cheers
James

Quote (primarch @ 09 2004 May,16:00) | Hi!
While I have been planning a "mega-battle" of more than 100k points per side, I guess its appropriate to have a titan mega-battle of at least 40-50 titans per side....
....that one is probably easier to run too....
Primarch | How about a Primarch battle, where on the one side are the 1000k points of your army (when you get to the mark) and on the other side the combined forces of other forum members? I wonder how long THAT would take to play and who would rent a football stadium for the event...

Quote (Warmaster Nice @ 08 2004 May,19:50) | At the centre of the table an Imperator, a Warlord battlegroup and a reaver battlegroup was guarding the bridge into the Imperial city. They were assaulted by a Megagargant supported by two Gargant Big Mobs and a foul Chaos Titan of Nurgle. The Imperial forces pounded round after round into the approaching gargants but without inflicting any considerable damage to the massive warmachines. The Warlords and Reavers assaulted only to be cut down with uncanny ease. They did however manage to take a few of the hulking gargants -including the Megagargant with them. The Imperator continued to pour plasma bolts into the gargants until it too was silenced by the Nurgle titan. which were now free to cross the bridge into the imperial city. | I have always wondered why Imperial titans are more expensive than Gargants as, compared to the latter, they suck. The Imperials are much more fragile and their weapons aren't any better.

Began stripping paint off of one of my Battlemechs.
It's a suped-up Locust... sort of. Modified its design, so it will have one more ton of armor, and the model itself is the ancient plastic Locust with two medium lasers from the old plastic Shadowhawk instead of arms. Now I'm going to also clean up some flash that I did not clean up 3 years ago when I made this model, fix up some damage with green stuff and add a modicum of actuators to the arm joints.
Then, of course, I will repaint it...

Oh, and one other thing: does anybody here know where I can get drivers for ATI Rage XL for W95? I have problems with installing the damn thing...

With new job commitments, my painting time has been minimal, but when I have been able to fit some in, I've begun to paint my Halfling BB team and a few Warmaster Orc test stands. I'm also slowly gathering a pile of extra Epic stuff (Space marines and Feral Orcs), that I think I'll blitz in a few weeks when my holidays eventually get here.

Locust progresses nicely... but with the graphics card it's a real hell. Seems I'll have to find a W95 "B" upgrade for it to work.
