Very cool Vanvlak. It really captures the quirky nature of those Ordinati. I like the little tank next to it too! :)

Cheers! :)

Hi all,
this was a test tank I finished some week ago. This belongs to an Ad. Mech-attached armoured division, as yet nameless. The Fer-de-lance tank is equivalent to a Leman Russ Destroyer tank hunter, and is armed with a single Laser Destroyer. So now you know just where the Mekboyz got the material for so many of their Gunwagonz...

PS - the base is not part of the model; and I really need a better camera!

Minus the blades/jaws/rollers up front, with the bit for fixing these removed as well. I always thought these were too 'oomie for orks - the great big exhausts are of course heat sinks for the tanks' power packs to operate without overheating in desert conditions...

Incidentally, one of these without a turret looks a whole lot like an M113 - or a Rhino, if you prefer.. :p

Yes, I always thought that the Rhino was a "Doppelganger" for a US M113 (I had 14 in the Mech Co. I commanded !) or UK FV432.  Those vehicles were probably the inspiration for the Rhino.  And if you put an E40K hatch with Stormbolter on the hull of that Bonebreaka, it would make a good "Rhino-like" APC too !  Another good idea for a vehicle conversion ! :;):

Hi all,
here's a picture of the coalface - my workbench. You could see the Ordinati, a Baneblade, a Rhino, a Manticore, and some non-Epic stuff if it wern't for the fact that my webcam lead is too short...doh!
:p

Are you that bad, L4? Mine looks like a devastated Ad.Mech vehicle park which has crashed into a giants' cemetry (that's my WHFB Undead); with a WH40K Kroot Atomic Chicken strutting about the place.... :oo

Well, maybe not that bad ! :;):  I have a workbench and next to it my gaming tables covered with a GEO-Hex green mat with poster boards over that.  Then all my new stuff in clear plastic boxes stacked up next to another work space on the tables. I try to stay organized and clean.  Try ... ???

I think workbenches are genetically programmed to look a certain way much the same way we humans are.
We all have two legs, two arms ?(+ a couple of servo arms in your case Vanvlak :;): ) and a head. Workbenches all have a huge stack of boxes in severe danger of topping over, half empty paint bottles, piles of unpainted toy soldi...ahem; miniatures and a huge stack of completely unidentifiable stuff you're not really sure what is doing there in the first place.
It's a fact of nature -my workbench looks exactly the same way and so does millions of other hobbyists' workbenches across the globe -it's our secret trademark!

We do our best to clean up the mess, organize, reorganize but much like certain types of fungus the mess just keeps reappearing. If left unattended it might take over the entire house over the course of a couple of months. (as a matter of fact i suspect Workbench Mess has a secret agenda of world domination ...the GW hobby is just a pawn in their evil plot to spread WM across the globe ...Even President Bush is involved: WMD has actually nothing to do with ABC weapons. WMD is in fact ?a secret ?organisation of concerned parents/girlfriends/wives whose purpose is Workbench Mess' Destruction!!! Bush is nothing but a puppet of WM AHAHAHA!!!
The plot is thickening! ?-I... AAARGH!!!
*nurse comes in and gives W/N his daily dose of medicine...*

uhm, sorry. I really don't know what happened there :p

Cheers! :)

By dose of medicine you mean new minatures to keep you quite while the WM gently spreads! The worse thing is having a whole room for your hobbies and then believing it wiil behave and stay in the one place  :D  :D    :o
Don't let the WMD lot get you down.
Cheers

Hi all,
I've NOT stopped my third army - but ashamed of the clutter on my desk, I decided to remove a Gargant by completing it. You could just make out its Bad Moonz banner on my table pic - now it's gone - all it needed was a base after all. :p
Here it is - Destroarer:
