Great model... the paint job is hmm... a little uninspiring tho after the E40k Eldar the 'Eavy Metal team produced and Carl W's new Eldar on Dropship- thorn patterns in 6mm scale?!? ....madness...

Stormseer, that was just a quick example painted by Tom to give a better idea of what the final model looked like. I rather thought he did a nice neat and clean job myself.
Anyways, there are others being painted as you read this which will show a lot more of the finished detailing, and will include the thorn patterning.
.. Trust me on that one ?

Hehe, it wasn't a dig, I knew what you meant ?
The others will look a little darker with more feathered highlighting, much like the FW Wave Serpents I posted recently ?
I agree they are nice models though, albeit a little delicate around the sensors. I believe they have been strengthened a little for the production casts though.

I am really falling in love with this model. Too bad I'll have to wait almost a year untill it is released ...but I guess it gives me the time to paint up the rest of my Eldar force in the mean time.
