Anyone got any thoughts on how to mass produce some 6mm scale oil barrels and containers for ammo? or know some place that sell something similar?

Ammo box I can sorta make, but barrels is a problem. The distinct feature is three edge/rings around the barrel and too lazy to paint these.

well the process wouldn't be all that hard to design and cast them (in theory if you're equipped for the production). However I'd ask if there's an issue with what's already on the market (like this or say stuff from here to name a few)

There's also PerfectSix. But, yeah, there's a lot of options. Probably better to buy a few packs from each unless you plan to make A LOT of 'em.

Thanks, this is what I was looking for, just too many sites to search through to find it. Will likely try the stuff from Perfect Six, but yeah I'd like a lot of them.

Just brought a ton of barrels of perfect six. They looked great up against old rhinos and marines, so brought a ton so I could cover terrain. Ten quid will net you 80 of them.

The sculpts are top notch, and I'd love to get my hand on a lot of the exodus wars stuff I never got when SCP where still in shop. Only problem is that HLS has been pretty shoddy so far, at least imo. Ignoring the problems they had with packaging at the start (which has not affected me) they took months and months to restock items, which is fair enough, but when they did finally restock, they wanted over €17 to post less then 200 infantry sized minis!! ridiculous! I did pop a note up on one of the facebook groups and someone suggested it was an automated system, and emailing them would let me discuss this with them, and get the correct postage but I never heard back from them.

Perfect 6 shipped out a almost £200 order the following day, and because I ordered a ridiculous amount of one item, that he didn't have the stock for, he offered to send them out as soon as he had them, but I offered to have him keep them until I made another order later this year to save on spending on postage.

Plus he doest charge postage on orders over £75! (normal postage is pretty cheap with him anyway!)

I wish vanguard had gotten hold of the exodus wars line, they are much better suited to handling a niche line like this!

I did try to acquire the exodus wars range but it was already under negotiations with HLS so that was that.

Thanks. I got some oil drums, jerry cans and ammo crates. Impressed with them all other than the jerry cans, but still a good quality. And for the price they worth it rather than spending the effort making them myself.

yes though please made them distinct from what's on the market now. personally something resembling that old ammo dump bit from 3rd edition epic would be rad.
