and yep, I bought those Carnifexes.

As you guys say, the marine is one brave mother -fudger-, but that is what a Marine is, doesn't it? XD

I wanted to show you guys some Gargoyles I've done to put them on the Hierophant, just flying arraund.



As you can see those are pretty simple... and maybe even ugly (the wings... ><) but I don't know how to do them better given the scale... ¿what do you think? ¿or do you have any tips to do them better?

Not sure if you have any or want to go through the trouble of getting them, but when I made flying gargoyles I took the plastic ones that GW released, ran a sharp razor down between the vertical wings, and then clipped them off the model and glued them to the metal termagants that you have. See the picture.


That said, the ones you sculpted I'm sure will look great once you paint them up. I've found that paint helps a lot of weird looking models and kit bashes in the end!

OR you could not cut them and make a greenstuff pressmold for the wings, which would make em bendier, so they could wrap around the harridan!

Impressive swarm. Very pricey for a stand :roll:

Pm me a reminder as i probably have a lot of spare 40k gargoyle wings i can set you up with a set.

Also may be overkill for gargoyles, but use wire frames. I did a few for my tyranid guards on my website.

Wow! These are insane!! Such inspiring work! I'm wanting to build up a tyranid army but finding the pieces in the uk has started to become a bit of a chore haha! Though converting my own like you have done could work! Again, amazing work
