Hmm, no trapping the Warlord Titan behind a bunch of Plague Zombies this time!

That's a pretty cool draw. Tough first game: How many mole mortars?

Considering the amount of mole mortars I am anticipating, I think that could apply as much to my Vannahiem!

This is shaping up to potentially be disruption blast templates: the tournament, given there's 2 squats with likely a high number of mole mortars, vanaheim, and all those death guard

We jest on the Mole Mortars, it's unlikely either list has taken any i'd suspect ;) Now Macro blast templates from the likes of a colossus is a different matter...

Quite looking forward to playing Nds first game though i must say, as it should be one of the more challenging matchups for the Cron list i've taken.

Nonsense Richard, it's 4 units of bezerkers and 11 units of mole mortars for me! ;-)

I've seen polar opinions about them - some think that garrisonable so they can sustain fire 6BP with disrupt into the deployment zone is the best thing ever.
Others think that your opponent would just put his objectives further back, and that a 30cm over watch means anyone that can charge 30cm makes the over watch shots land on your own guys, making them virtually useless.

Myself I've never played with or against them so it's all theory hammer at the moment for me

Given the presence of more than one Nid army and lots of Disrupt, could someone confirm how Disrupt and Synapse works again? :(

Gargoyles, Hormogaunts and Termaganst that get killed don't inflict a BM, but ones that are hit and survive do inflict a BM?

You effectively get BM's on 'Hit' rather than on kill, so disrupt basically isn't very nice for Nids.

The FAQ says disrupt hits on void shields and expendable units do not generate BMs

That's the NetEA FAQ, which doesn't apply to Epic-UK events.
