Anywho post without pics and all that.

I needed something to be centurians to play test for Kyuss and up until now i have been using old plastic dreads, but i like the idea of seconded legio cybernetica since i'm heresy themed in my look so the answer seemed to be robots. Largely mechanicum coloured with a spot panel and some campaign markings hinting at glorius service with the VIIth that sort of thing.

A few minutes rabbiting through Atcho and Locknars bits boxes followed by a rebase and a coat of paint and bam 2 detachments of VIIth legion seconded cybernetica.

Managed to get a good mix of the old sculpts

tried my hand at some knee and carapace campaign markings

Hope you like them.

thanks for the kind words all. I really love the old robot sculpts they are really cool sculpts and everyone seems to have a few hanging around so its great to see the love for them.

Up for today astartes crew served gun time, first up Thudds, i love these things in game and if i'm playing the fists static i dont leave home without them. Now i just need to source some rapiers..........

Hope you like them

I like them a lot but I think the wheels need a little something more. Perhaps brass or tin bitz painted on the wheel track itself? Maybe dirty them up too? Right now they look like a base coat but not done.

Let me dig around, I think I have some rapiers.

Must agree with jimmy wheels need metal rims at least, apart from that they are looking great.

thanks for the feedback, yeah i was worried about that when i finished them that no way the wheels would still look like that. I'll repaint the wheels and repost, thanks guys

Jimmy if you do have some rapiers around that would be awesome
