Cheers chaps. No new scenery boards this year (as 3 scenery boards took about 4 months to make last year) and as I'm doing this myself, it's difficult to get the time to do in between work etc.

However, on the positive note I have been refining some of the existing scenery and making new stuff which includes:

Fields (already seen)
Forge world factories
Forge world factory area boards (photos will explain)
Jungle world Temples/Aztec type buildings
Jungle trees :0)

So to confirm some of the worlds that will be present this year:

Ice world (snow trenches, ice shard razorwire and ice bergs, quite a bit of open terrain)
Lava World (cooled lava trenches, shard razorwire, a lot of open terrain)
Wasteland World ( dry earth trenches, barbed wire, craters, ork outpost buildings)
Forge World, (lots of dirty factory buildings, barbed wire, roads, ruins, rubble (not as much scenery as last year though)
Agri World (loads and loads of fields, rivers, trees, hills, bridge, barbed wire, quite a bit of open terrain)
Jungle World (loads of trees, aztec type temples/buildings/monuments) rivers, rocks
Hive World (lots of buildings again, roads, craters, razorwire)

The remaining two worlds are yet to be confirmed...
spent last two days putting jungle trees together and making more trench/wire sections...

Cannot wait to see what you've come up with BB.

The tables looked fantastic last year, so if you've built on that I'm going to be very impressed!

At this rate you're going to have to start hiring out the cathedral if it gets more popular!!

Cheers
Reedar

:) Thanks Reedar.

You've done it now..the cogs are whirring inside my brain.., Would be perfect Gothic Adeptus atmosphere having Epic games inside Exeter Cathedral....maybe one day when the choirs, orchestras have a day off...

First time seen a snow board being used, and there's me without my chaos finished.... have gone for a salt plains cracked earth look for this army, hopefully it blends in well

IIRC the Ork world BB did last year would have suited your army Jon...

+++INCOMING+++

Forge World update....
Spruced up some of last year's Forge World buildings (new coat of paint and painted windows black, blackened up chimneys)
Image

Made some new factories and buildings..

New base boards for Forge World buildings to go on...
Image

Here's how all should look on the baseboards (note the buildings/bases will NOT be tightly packed like this photo). The red discs will be furnaces when done. Additional Forgeworld buildings will be borrowed on the day from Exeter Inquisition and Rygas Roughnecks clubs

Remember folks..all lists in by Sunday 11:59 pm please :)

List sent.

I looked at the standard space marine lists and decided...nah, let's not do that.

I'll probably learn why those lists are the meta soon enough, who needs practise anyway...

That's the spirit Scut!

A played my only test game with my list against tc63 last night, and now have the awkward decision about changing the list but not trying it out again.

List change it is then!!!!

I'm using an untested list that doesn't even have a supreme commander, with an emphasis on firepower and vehicles in a tournament known for having lots of scenery and trenches to provide infantry cover.

There will be lots of silly all round
