Hi all - Athmos, I have two squads of the old Terminators - I used to hate them and they were almost sold off ages ago....I resurrected them because they have such a stiff statue-like feel that they are the quintessential terminators - plodding and slow but irremovable. I know the far more detailed new ones (Grey Knight Ts in particular) are more detailed and generally attractive, but I'm starting to see them as too dynamic for a Termie..... 
ok, that doesn't hold too much water: main reason is they're there (like most others they came in the Space Hulk boxes) and therefore have been paid for; and they also do the job as well as any other terminator. I was pleased that the beflagged term. (the one in the pick) was liked by other players - there's still life in the old guys.
Re Dr. Strangelove and the giant - it might not be cleas from the rather poor pic, and anyone unacquainted with the film would be in the dark, so: the Giant has a Chaos warrior riding his club, waving his helmet in the air. This is derived from a scene towards the end of the film where a Texan tobacco-chewing air force major is accidentally dropped, along with an atomic bomb he was arming, from a B-52 over Russia. The major rides the bomb down like a rodeo cowboy, waving his stetson in the air. Now I don't have A-bombs in my WHFB Chaos army (I'll leave that for the Skaven...), so I chose second best: the Giant's club.
The giant is unforgivably name Beefifteetoo.

Painting the single Seraphim, all the while trying to do some work on the newest Chick from Hell (this time with horns!).

Finished my new Chick from hell, but this Seraphim will take a while longer.
Also batch-painting a load of Dark Angels...
Some pics of my models will be up on Monday, I think.

Got a bit of work done on an old project which has been lying arround for ages: an Emperor/Warmaster Horus diorama. I just game Horus a coat of paint. Still a few minor bits and bobs to clean up but all in all the miniatures themselves are finished for now. The diorama base itself still needs a lot of work though. This is how it looks so far: Bottom page - continues onto page 2

Seraphim is almost finished - one hell of a cool chick indeed!
Also finished highlighting the powered armour on my 12 (or is it 15?) Dark Angels who are in painting. Now the metallics.
Stripped my beloved Deathwing Terminator from paint - will re-paint him in better colours.
Looks like I'm running out of Chaos Black, and the Black Ink pot is empty... Gotta go to local store soon.

Finished the Seraph, took pics (along with 9 other miniatures). Pics came out ass-ugly, with wrong color balance et al, so it will take me a while to make them look like they should do.
Finished my Plasma Cannon Devstator Marine. Now working on more Dark Angels...

Managed to fix up the pics... mostly.
Now I have uploaded them into my site's gallery.
These are:

Another Chick From Hell added to their gallery.
Also I have finally taken pics of one of my favourite Battlemech models - the Macross Hawk.
This was the art that inspired me. A computer magazine in here, named Secret Service (RIP, dear mag), had a manga & anime section, ususally taking up to 4 pages per issue. In one of them I saw this wonderful machine. Altough searching through the net about this one gave no real results, it was enough for me to begin converting a Phoenix Hawk...
An that's how it turned out.

Yep, but thinking of it, if I made it currently, I'd make it much better - my skills with GS have improved a lot since then.

Nothing major happening at the moment I'm afraid. Spray undercoated the stuff for my Epic Cadia and Catachan armies tonight. Then i decided to redo an an old Ordinatus Armageddon conversion I never relly was satisfied with. Nothing big but the result is here.
