Brilliant stuff. May have to treat myself to some more especially door end pieces.

Modular, so this is just a test piece to check if things fit.

test piece printed and cast. Now I see what to correct. More panels to come this summer. All designed but needs printing.
The final product will be on Indiegogo hopefully end of summer.

This looks really cool. I've asked this on the facebook page before seeing that you'd posted here as well - do you anticipate any issues creating larger structures out of individual panels like this? Things like warping or slight size differences in the panels. I'm sure you're on top of it I'd just be interested to know if it's anything you've had to consider.

I copy it here from FB:

It was not a real issue with the other building kit.
I am testing now another build method, where you are not building without any back support, but gluing the panels to plasticard.
In my first tutorial I did a free standing build method.

http://bit.ly/gregsterslab-building-tutorial1

As with all resin items, warping can occur, but we usually manage to filter them out when packing. Hot water can solve that too if it should happen.

-------------
As soon as I have the prototype cast - that you can see on FB - from the caster, I will see if I have to add another mm to the thickness for more strength.

warping and slight size difference is always considered and already for the Indiegogo campaign the caster used a different resin than usual. We can not close out the small differences. I do not want to do very thick panels either.

It looks like it's going to be a very nice system, the quality of the casts from the first crowdfunder were top notch.

It would be good if you had some optional roof types, spires and domes perhaps - similar to the type of thing that wasteland are producing. You could even go to town and create a Taj Mahal or St. Paul's style dome!! That might be quite a large piece of resin though!

I am finishing now the basic elements. wall panels, corners, roof side panels. Fine tuning really.

As it will be modular, I am not sure how to handle the flat roof. Everyone can build different layouts, so one generic flat roof is tricky. Will consider it a bit. Or people can cut their own roof from plasticard.

Domes, spires and stuff will come if stage 1 is successful and popular.

Totally different terrain thing:

I need to eat some yoghurt to be able to show you something. Yes, cryptic, but you will see what I mean next weekend when I receive the stuff...

Showing you the first panel in action.

They are just fixed with blu tack to a box.
