Agreed! I think they help to break up the rank and file aesthetic and really make the units look like an organized swarm.

Been way too long, but a mixture of work and painter's block has kept me away. Finally got around to finishing up a test model for dactlys. It is a fantastic model with lots a detail. Plus, I think this really captures a more aggressive creature better than the old metal ones. As always, I really appreciate C&C!

Oh yeah that rules!! Really dynamic

My only suggestion would have been to sculpt a few slime trails on the missile being thrown to hide the rod, so it just looks like the blob has some strands of goo stuck to the hand throwing it.... either way it looks amazing!

Alright, here we go. Just a touch up, but I was hesitant to add too much or even to try green stuff and have the strand end up looking too bulky.

Glad you guys like it! I'm hoping to finish up the army in time for NEAT. I need to get through the rest of the dactlys, some exocrines, and the infantry. Got to throw this into high gear!
