No problem Apoc happy to help.

They did take a bit of cleaning up because of mould lines but once these are removed they paint up well. Will be using a lot of these to boost numbers especially once the specialist set becomes available.

Finished my first formation of heresy Iron Warriors, yes I know I should be doing World Eaters and I am but I just wanted to see if these figures would go well alongside my other heresy models and they do. Iron Warriors are a quick easy paint scheme to try on them.

Two twenty man tactical squads (bolters) ready for combat. Needed to double up on a few poses as I will be putting the flamer and rocket guy in their own specialist squads as per the organisation of the period.

So finally my long delayed World Eaters first batch are done yah.

Due to numbers of marines I want to do for the heresy collection as well as using the old strip bases to speed things up I have also cut out a few stages on the paint scheme too, namely shoulder pad rims which are very time consuming and hand weapon metallic detail which I can live without for the most part. So these are not quite as detailed as I would normally do marines but I'm fairly happy with them anyway.

Base finish on these have more rocks/rubble on them as they need to blend in for both Isstvan III and V use.

I`m rather conflicted about all this, i like what you have done but to me World eaters are Brass clad blood dripping champions of KHORNE.

They are red after the Heresy. Moredakka has painted them pre-Heresy era colours :)

I know what you mean but psypher is right these are done in pre-heresy period legion colours. For blood red berserkers see much further back in this thread. ;)

@ psypher, cheers mate and as you say these sculpts are rather nice.

More WE's to come later and I have several other heresy battle groups on the go at the moment. :)
