Some engine pictures as promiced. The clear resin is very fragile and while the detail is as high as one could hope some parts of the model are just too tiny to withstand handling. Of the three now based there was 1-4 major breakages per model during disentangling from the supporting framework. As you can see right arm snapped during painting, the left one has been repaired already earlier. The paint is a real rushjob, I just wanted to see roughly how it would look in the right colours.

Flyers in colours, again just to give you guys an idea of the paint scheme. Oh boy does the red look bad in too close up lighting. It isn't as bad as that in real life, honestly. >:(

Some more sisters tanks and how the engines look assembled but unpainted. There is a clear difference between the quality of the printers largely based on the method of printing. These are done with a light active polymer.

Some marine buildings, these are made with heated plastic extrusion, which is the more common and cheaper option. In this method there is always a better side and an off side in the final print. It works fine on larger models like buildings, while there is some retouching to do, it's usually not a major problem. The thickeness of the horizontal lines depends on the printing accuracy and are largely covered by paint or easily filed of. Even if some are visible after painting it actually adds detail to bunker like concrete structures that have similar lines after real world casting.

Very nice designs. That stratification would look very good in 15-28 mm concrete buildings! Is it easy to clean/sand?

Yes, I usually use a hobbyknife to scrape them of or a file, I suppose fine sandpaper would do fine as well. It's just that if you have a lot of surfaces and some filling to do it can take some time.

Some previews of things to come, hopefully soon. Grotzkrieg, Happy Robot, Big Boy and Supa Bad Ass Tank. The models aren't by me but I did modify the last from another version to be more shooty.

My sisters are starting to come along, I haven't had the chance to play with them yet, but soon. There is also the Melty turret and the Heavy Hanshaker. I was really surprised that the Handshaker came out so well, I had zero expectations for it and it didn't even break while I removed the supports! Now I'm thinking I might have to do a few more, just so it has some company. ;D

Is the hanshaker the forklift style walker? That is fantastic. I love those things, and it looks like you did an amazing job on that one. You should definitely make more.

Thanks, "takes a bow". Yes, they are indeed good at lifting stuff and I even got to beat some aliens with it. Three friends for it are now in the works.
Here is a picture of a recent first fight of my yet unpainted Sisters. The Tyranids just want to come and give them a four armed hug! What's so bad about that I ask you?
With my abyssal dice throws I nearly managed to piss away the entire game for the sisters in the first two turns. Instead of just walking there and doing the over watch as I had intended. I instead drove in with tanks, fumbled the first initiative roll and ended up with bridges full of bugs! Good luck trying to get them out. After they had eaten most of my non cc infantry my repentia and penitents rallied and charged them and won! I know, charging Tyranids to close combat ;D good times. Of course they got eaten in the next counter charge, but it was fun while it lasted. Points well spent for the funness factor alone. Here I probably should point out that I use my own profile for the repentia, so no armor but first stirke, so they are more like the one hit wonder they are in 40k and fluff.
