I know i asked about the AdMech forces on FB already, but are they being done as we speak or are they further down the road?

I'm also choosing between Emperors Children and Raven Guard. Will all the different legions recieve their iwn list in the future or will the rest go under the generic SM list?

I'm wanting to follow the direction of the forgeworld rulebooks so legions will be created as the books come out (i am polishing off the 12 from the isstvan series now, but i will wait until further info can be gleaned from the Calth book for word bearers, and release Ultramarines at that time too).

Admech, knight, titan and solar auxilia forces are at planning stages at the moment (laid out some work on knight households today actually).

I caught a small error i had made in the main list- fire raptor gunships had been given the wrong armament. Please re-download the main list which is now corrected.

I'm very late to this party, but I'm getting interested in the HH era, and saw this as I was slogging through this thread:



Was there a reason for this? Malcadors seem to be very common units during this era from what I am reading, and just not seeing much need to have them included seems a bit off.

Yeah it is a different era. Some lists eill not include them for theme/purpose, as some lists will contain other specialised units (vindicator detachments) etc.

Well, I'm interested in seeing viable lists that use Malcadors and the variants in sufficient numbers and aren't just Vraskians lists.

The 30k versions are faster than the 40k ones too, and you benefit from ATSKNF, so they function quite differently too.

What list are those in? I have Heresy 2.0 and I don't see any mention of Malcador tanks in the PDF. So I'm assuming that I have a defunct document or just looking at the wrong one.

I'm not an expert at these lists nor do I follow as faithfully as I could, but I'm jumping into HH late here and trying to consolidate what is available PLUS trying to find a non-Vraks list that uses Malcadors (I've become a fan of those tanks, I love the designs). I'm also a fan of Ragnaroks as well but I know the use of them is very, very specific.

But my original question still stands as to why SK didn't see a need for Malcadors, even though they did get used quite a bit in the HH.

Jump to the first post of this thread to download the latest lists, i don't remember releasing any 2.0 document (latest here is 0.8.3). Rule of cool, malcadors look cool.

If I had any idea what I was doing, I might put forward my own armored list for IG using Malcadors...something from the Great Crusade or HH or even from a later date before they were phased out completely. Or maybe an A-M force from M'Khand Secundus Forge World. Or something.

Ps, i have started a 30k solar auxilia list, malcadors did not make the cut there so far as they are too similar to the leman russ'

I am sure there will be place for malcadors in a 30k imperial militia list in the future.

Completely agree; I have a few forumware Malcadors that are slated for inclusion in a HH Iron Hands army (one of these days...).

Also a good home for my swarms of Contemptor, Furibundus and Deredeo dreads

There's a very sexy Iron Hand Malcador in Book 2 IIRC. Use it for inspiration
