- Sir, the spec ops drop troops managed to transmit this grainy image before the GreyDark Industries units zeroed in on them.
- What structure is this lieutenant?
- We think that this is a kind of power source. An energy capacitor.
The rumours about that energy shield could be true!

When we hit 5000 EUR, each contributor will get one of these for free. You can get multiple copies using the points from the add-on packs or your bonuses. This piece will be a campaign exclusive. Will not be on sale after the campaign.

The great thing about this structure is that the centre houses a coloured plastic rod (similar to those seen with necrons) that gives it a kind of glowing effect. The structure is still work-in-progress. Next to it, each section of the measuring tape is 5mm long.

Mold making, casting, 3D printing. Will be busy for a while.

December was hell at work. And then sick. Updates on Facebook, but not here.

Last shapeways shipment is due to arrive tomorrow. Also some 40+ kg of resin.

more pressure chambers underway.

Hi,

The prints needed a thorough brushing to remove the residue. I will try another printing method/material, but shapeways does not have that.

These casts were not cleaned at all.
I am sure some people will polish them a bit to have even more smoothness.

did you take a 2000 grit sandpaper to them first? that's what I've done with prints to remove print lines from SW.

The caster is doing it to some parts that look like they need it.

Some part shapeways prints in a wrong way. E.g. a wall standing, instead of printing it flat. Standing I got zillions of lines. Landing pad was printed flat and is smooth.
