I have another query question (based on the v2 list):
Kroothounds: listed as having an Assault Weapon (as one would expect), but it has NA under Close Combat value.
The krootox also has a NA close combat value.
Has this been picked up anywhere else?

Reviewed the Tau v.3 rules - very well done, cleaned up nicely ! Even listed both versions of the Hammerhead and even Broadside suits ! All F/W has to do is make a Knarloc and maybe some heavy drones ! I have an Epic Orca and Skyrays coming in the mail (I hope - soon !). I'll continue to peruse them along with the updated DKoK (the 41st Reich !  ), F/Orks (spoons & knives !), and Necrons (T2 in Spaaace !). The Eldar concern me, they keep re-writing those rules -v.10 something now ?! I think they are not sure what to do with the 40K Eldar so hence the Epic version is still very much in flux ! I do hope they keep these new armies forces down to a reasonable levels. G/W sometimes makes too much for some forces (IG, SM, Orks) and ignores others (Chaos, 'Nids, maybe even Eldar), IMO. To much redundancy ... how many versions of something do we need ? I'd like to see more Chao Power specific models ... like say ... Nurgle Predators not another version of Shadowsword ! Oh well enough of an old man's ramblings !

Yes the Eldar just keep getting revised... I know the official list is not due out for a while but I wish they would make up their minds... I can't believe they have four SHT now!! That great hawk thing is bascially a battery of night spinners... seems unneccessary to me. Storm serpent heavy transport or whatever it is called is ok I guess.
I wish they would hurry up and release an updated Chaos list myself!

Although it's a nice excuse to get some more spiffy new Eldar models. After all, GW needs something to sell, and the current metal Eldar vehicles are already top-notch, and I doubt they'd redo the infantry.

I'm all for new Eldar tanks... after all, IG get five different superheavies, AA tanks, artillery etc etc.. why shouldn't we pointy-eared types join in the fun too?!

Either way ... between G/W & F/W, the Vulcans ... I mean, Eldar, will be getting some more AFVs. But I still don't see why F/W wasted time making their own version of the Falcon ! But I bought it anyway ...
